Schönes Victorianisches Haus mit komfortablen Zimmern und luxuriösen modernen Badezimmern. Das Zimmer hatte charmante Dekorationen und ein komfortables Bett, und sogar ein Fußboden-Fan, was eine enorme Erleichterung war, als wir am Tag des Aufenthalts erschienen ungewöhnlich warm. Die Eigentümer waren nett, freundliche Leute. Die Lage ist großartig, nur ein wenig auf dem Hügel vom Bahnhof, Fährterminal und Stadtzentrum von Oban, auf einer ruhigen Wohnstraße. Warnung, dass die Zimmer alle oben sind, so müssen Sie Ihr Gepäck aufnehmen. Auf der Seite ist eine gemütliche Gästelounge mit einem großen Blick auf die Bucht.

The old hotel was quite dated but did not disappoint, The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast which you help yourself to whatever you wish A good selection of hot food and also the food selection of continental food was good also, 5 star breakfast. Evening meal very good also would return again just for the food. Great location in the centre of town close to all amenities. Don't let other bad views of this hotel put you off as this hotel is good value for money.

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar am Loch Melfort und gleich neben den Arduaine Gardens. Diese Parkanlage war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes aber dauerhaft geschlossen. Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer im Haupthaus ohne besonderen Ausblick. Es gibt auch Zimmer im neuen Anbau mit Blick auf die Bucht, die möglicherweise geräumiger sind. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Obwohl die Küche um 21:00 schließt und wir erst kurz vorher zum Einchecken angekommen waren, konnten wir noch eine Bestellung aufgeben und anschließend im Restaurant zu Abend essen.

Not disappointed at all. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We stayed here for a week in the king size sea view room ( my word what a view it was ) it was beyond expectations and not once did the standard drop. The level of cleanliness and hospitality was top notch, not to mention the food. Whether it was breakfast or an evening meal it was well cooked and very tasty. I have never had such tasty porridge as they make here. I can highly recommend staying here, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

it's a shame the hotel currently doesn't offer evening meals, as after a long journey the last thing we felt like was trying to find some where to have an evening meal. the hotel was very clean, comfortable & staff were friendly & helpful. the bathroom in the room we were in was small & compacted but functional, with the advantage of a large shower. the bar was always empty so didn't feel like being the only 2 in the bar so we didn't have any drinks, we didn't have breakfast it looked & smelt lovely. Feel it would have been a different experience if evening meal were being served. its a great location, saying this if in the area would use again

SScoutHampshireI come to Oban each year to ‘escape to the Highlands’. I always stay at Glen view as Morwan is so kind and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, especially the bed and the breakfast is always hot and cooked to order. It’s only a ten minute walk to the ferry port and station, and five minutes to the car hire place so the location is ideal. I always book well in advance, especially for longer periods as I always prefer a single room en-suite. I would always stay at Glenview and hope to again next year. I always visit Mull, Iona and Glencoe so stay at Glenview as I can do everything from there.

GGuest UserDie Gäste waren so freundlich und unterkunftsfähig! Sie passen Ihren besonderen Bedürfnissen, die ein wirklich schöner Kontakt ist. Nichts war zu viel Problem für sie. Die Unterkunft war schön und unser Zimmer war erstaunlich. Rein, geräumig und hatte alle Ausstattung, die wir brauchten. Der ergänzende Prosecco war auch eine wunderschöne Geste. Die Lage ist perfekt, schöne Aussichten und eine wunderschöne Wanderung in die Stadt. Besonderes Dank für Emilia auf dem Frontbüro!

The Muthu hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Oban train station, the hotel is 100 years old, not very new, but the location is perfect, better than any other hotel location in Oban, firstly, it is not far from the train station, secondly, the hotel can look at both the hill across the street and the right side of the sea, thirdly, the hotel is only 1-minute walk from Oban's famous restaurant, EE-USK. The rooms directly across from the marina look out over Oban Bay. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, and its casual style relaxes people, The hotel soundproofing is slightly worse. Occasionally, you can hear the floor sound of walking upstairs, but it does not affect the rest; also, please rest assured! This is my own personal experience. The staff here are all amiable, and I was very impressed. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! This place will leave you with great memories of your trip!

TtjqmDie Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und der Parkplatz ist auch sehr groß. Die Landschaft ist im Gesicht zum Golf und zum Hafen wunderschön. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, das allgemeine Gefühl ist auch alt, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier ist sehr hoch
