Was kann ich sagen, außer was ein schöner Ort ist das. Der Service war großartig, Rupert und Camilla sind zweifellos die schönsten Gastgeber, die Sie jemals möchten treffen und Nutmeg der kleine Hund ist einfach wunderschön. Wir blieben nur eine Nacht, als wir eine Kartierungsereignis machen, aber wir haben bereits beschlossen, dass wir in Zukunft nochmals besuchen werden! Rupert hat uns bei der Ankunft begrüßt, nimmt unsere Taschen in unser Zimmer und gab uns eine kleine Tour von der B und B, unser Zimmer war erhitzt, so war es bei der Ankunft toasty und Rupert hat uns eine Flasche frische Milch für unseren Kaffee anstatt die UHT Milch, die normal ist, liefert uns für andere Immobilien. Wir essen aus und Rupert freundlich reservierte uns einen Tisch im örtlichen pub und gab uns sogar Anleitungen, wie man dorthin kommen kann.... sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war spotless, schön mit schönen komfortablen Möbeln und einem wirklich komfortablen Bett, wir schliefen wie Logs! Das Frühstück war absolut wunderschön, viel Auswahl, gute Qualität Zutaten und gekocht zu perfekt, die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam, um sicherzustellen, dass wir genügend zu essen und zu trinken hatten. Alles in unserem ganzen Aufenthalt war fantastisch, danke so viel Rupert und Camilla und natürlich auch Nutmeg! Wir werden wieder zurück sein! Wayne & Jo.

In den Gästezimmern im dritten Stock gibt es keinen Aufzug. Der gutaussehende Kundendienstmitarbeiter half beim Auf- und Abheben der großen Kiste und beim durchdachten Service. Es gibt Parkplätze. Die geografische Lage ist das Kerngebiet der Stadt und kann zu Fuß erreicht werden, einschließlich des Bahnhofs. Gegenüber der berühmten Kathedrale. Die Architektur ist sehr gestylt. Das Restaurant im Erdgeschoss ist mit der Bar verbunden, die nachts sehr lebhaft ist. Dies ist eine ausländische soziale Plattform. Viele ausländische Betten sind grundsätzlich schmal. Es wird gesagt, dass es die Ritter-Ära war, die die Waffe unter das Bett legte, und sie war sofort von jeder Seite zugänglich. Kurz gesagt, wir hatten keine Waffen dabei, so dass der Platz unter dem Bett nicht genutzt wurde.

From the moment we walked in the door of the public bar of Hunters Moon we knew we were in for a friendly stay. The lady behind the bar was most welcoming and immediately showed us to our ground floor room which was spacious and clean. The en-suite was adequate with a shower cubicle in it. The welcome tray was fully stocked every day and tasty biscuits along with bottled water provided daily as well. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful when we went in to the bar for an evening meal. With an extensive menu and a specials board we were spoilt for choice. My partner had the smoked eel starter with the locally made venison faggots for mains which he said was all delicious. I had the special pie of the day which was steak and mushroom but oh my word, it was enormous. Be careful what you ask for! The mashed potato was perfect as was the mixture of vegetables all cooked al dente. We stayed for three nights at Hunters Moon and the breakfasts were excellent with a choice of sizes. Nothing was rushed and we felt totally relaxed. This is a place that we look forward to staying in again when we next visit friends.

We went with our family for meal out and because they had ribs on the menu as my partner wanted these for a meal. We had starters which were presented very nicely however my sister and I shared halloumi fries with sweet chilli sauce which were very greasy. The ribs both partners had were clearly the shop prepacked ribs you can purchase is Lidl and not good value at all. My sister and I both had the spinach,chick pea and potato curry, this was awful. No taste and so hot spice wise I couldn't eat it.. The bar manager was kind enough to knock the two curries off the bill as we didn't eat it. I would say bog standard food for high prices! In all honesty we wouldn't go back again.

Lovely pub downstairs. With restaurant and large outdoor area. Our room was a good size and a large modern en-suite. The breakfast was very good. We had a large full English.

It’s clean and basic but room for improvements. We arrived late on Wednesday night and our room was directly behind the reception area and the room was very small. The room is clean and basic however the bed was extremely uncomfortable and seemed to be faulty as it dipped to one side. We also were left one bath towel for two guests so we had to ask for another towel. The bathroom was extremely tiny and unmovable. You have to push the shower door in to climb in very awkward to get in and out of. If you were a solo traveller you might get away with this room however I personally believe the room should be used as an office for the staff as it just did not meet guest standards. Or remove the bath and have a walk in shower instead as another option. However the hotels location is very handy with walkable distance to shops and cafes etc. The hotel has WiFi, smart TV’s and full length mirror and dressing table in rooms which do help make the room better. Also quite noisy so if you’re a light sleeper it’s not too great.
