Thank you Bestwood Lodge for pulling off the best day of our life. We got married here recently and we have been planning this for almost 2 years with Bestwood Lodge and I must say all my appointments were very attentive and helpful. Brent and the team understood the assignments and I know I very demanding at time but nothing was too much for him and I could trust him to delivery and plan our day smoothly. All our guests have said how perfect and smooth the day was, from the checking into the rooms as most of our guests were staying in the hotel. Rooms were ready early for people to get change before the ceremony in the chapel at 2pm. My husband’s mother was booked into one of the new accessible room which are very nice and spacious and close to the Chapel. The music in the ceremony was spot on. Even though I left my usb with songs at home. Brenton quickly downloaded the songs on his phone and saved the day. The flowers and the decorations in the ballroom was amazing and the room was layout just as we wanted it. Some of our guests were fussy eaters but all the courses were 5 star quality and the presentation of the canapés and variety in the buffet. The food was definitely a highlight. I must mention that all the bar staff on the day worked really well and service was with a smile and keeping the bar stock. Thank you bestwood lodge for making our wedding special and i am sure some of our friends will be using your venue again. We have already booked to stay again in the accessible room for our anniversary. I also would like to mention Housekeeping team thank you for waiting around and sort our room out the first night and for all our weird requests x

Fantastic service from the moment I rang & spoke to Amanda the event coordinator , desperate to find a venue to accommodate my parents golden wedding anniversary ! The customer service & all the requests were met exceptionally , I couldn’t fault them ! Jamie , one of the waitresses was amazing , helping me create the most perfect afternoon tea for 44 people . Nothing was too much trouble, the food & drinks was faultless & lots of compliments from family & friends. All in all i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & use this venue & team again 😊

We have a fantastic stay in Doubletree by Hilton in Nottingham. The room is very spacious, much bigger than those Doubletree hotel rooms in other cities, good value for money! The amenities and facilities are of high quality. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in process is very smooth. The welcoming cookies are very tasty too! Although the location of the hotel is a little far from the town centre, we can easily drive to there and the hotel car park is free. Highly recommended!

Mein Freund und ich haben vor einigen Wochen einen Spa-Freizeitraum als gemeinsame 30-Geburtstagsfeier reserviert. Leider war nicht alles so entspannend, wie wir mit vielen Fragen hoffen würden, die auf dem Weg berichten. Positive waren die Rezeption Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, die Behandlungen im Spa waren ausgezeichnet, die Toiletten im Zimmer waren wunderschön und die Tassen im Zimmer waren ein zusätzlicher Bonus. Allerdings wurde viel davon durch Probleme während des Aufenthalts überschattet. Das Hotel gab keine 4* Gefühl und die Kommunikation fehlte von vielen Mitarbeitern. Unsere Hauptsorge war vor der Buchung nachmittags Tee, aber die Buchung konnte nicht gefunden werden, also wir waren überlassen, sich zu fragen, was in der Bar passiert. Wir wurden vom Manager erzählt, dass es „sortiert werden“ würde, aber er verschwand und nie wieder zurückkehrte. Endlich bot uns ein anderes Personal an das Spa-Lunchmenü, aber es war eine Schande, dass wir nicht die Nachmittagsthee ursprünglich gebucht haben konnten. Wir warten auch lange um, bis das sortiert werden konnte. Wir fanden die Spa-Anlagen mit keinem Entspannungsraum begrenzt. Lounges sind wir mit wenig bis nicht zu verwenden während des ganzen Tages vorbehalten. Das Dampfzimmer fehlte an Dampf und schien gebrochen zu sein. Andere Fragen beinhalteten Verwirrung mit der Abendessenszulage, da wir im Restaurant eine vollständige Rechnung zu zahlen hatten. Das wurde schnell korrigiert, aber dann, wenn wir am nächsten Tag auschecken, wir fragten, wie wir für das Abendessen zu zahlen wollten. Die App funktionierte nicht, um anzumelden, so dass wir an der Rezeption anmelden mussten, obwohl das Rezeptionsteam schön war und so war das nicht ein großes Anliegen. Vielleicht war das störendste Problem der Zustand des Zimmers mit extrem dunkel hohen Berührungsbereichen einschließlich der Bettseite und einem Bettblatt mit Blut auf dem. Als wir ein neues Bettblatt gerufen haben, dauerte es 45 Minuten, um anzukommen und wir mussten das jagen. Es war insgesamt nett zu gehen, aber es gibt klare Probleme mit der Kommunikation innerhalb des Hotels. Es ist eine Schande, es war nicht so nett wie wir beide hätten gewünscht. Wir hatten schönere Spapausen in günstigeren Hotels.
