Having read the reviews on here I had a vague idea of what to expect and wasn't looking forward to it.... how wrong I was to trust some of these reviews! Yes it's in a bit of a rough and ready area and there are some shady characters hanging around in the evening... however don't bother them and they don't bother you. Parking is as advertised out front and space for about 3 cars but I believe you can park outside no 74 too. The building itself is very clean and tidy once inside albeit a little dated in places. I didn't use the breakfast included with my room as had other plans but I did check out the breakfast/kitchen area and was very impressed at how clean and modern it was and how many seats were available overlooking a well kept garden. I had room 205 at the very top of the property overlooking the street and found it to be very clean. Nice clean bedding and towels provided as well as tea and coffee facilities although I was missing a spoon which was a bit annoying but I didn't let it ruin my day like some would. The bathroom was clean and had enough toilet roll for my stay, the shower did have a bit of the beading hanging off at the bottom and a bit of mould around the edges but it's not the end of the world and I survived. The sink provided very hot water from the hot tap but the cold tap did turn when I used it which was comical however it still worked as it should, i have mentioned it in the review to the hotel as I didn't see any of the owners whilst there. Would I stay again... probably not as I don't plan on going back to Gloucester anytime soon but if I were to go back I certainly would consider it as the room was almost 50% cheaper than alternatives in the same area! Oh and if you're over 16 and have a driving licence there are a few VOI scooter parking areas nearby which are a great way to get around for 17p per minute!!

The welcome as you would expect, the local pub feel, the Sunday roast was well cooked, plenty of veg for options and lovely atmosphere. Good drinks quality and nothing was too much for the lovely staff. Always a pleasure to visit and enjoy and would highly recommend booking!

Sehr bequeme Lage eine kurze Fahrt vom M5 und es hat viele kostenlose Parkplätze. Einfache Eincheckung mit einem freundlichen Empfänger. Es gibt einen Aufzug, handvoll, wie unser Zimmer auf der oberen Etage war (3). Das Zimmer war ein Standard Doppel, war aber sehr geräumig und es gab eine angemessene Lagerung für unseren 2-person 3-night Aufenthalt. Kein Luftkont, aber die Fenster konnten ein paar Zoll öffnen und die Heizung war leicht kontrolliert. Alles war sauber, gemütlich und in perfektem Zustand. Unser Bett war sehr komfortabel mit einer Menge von Kissen und einem warmen Duvet. Es war ruhig in der Nacht mit kleinem Straßenlärm. Die Zimmergarten waren sehr effizient, besten stellen Sie Ihre Alarm, um zu vermeiden, in schlafen. Es gab auch einen Arbeitsplatz mit einem Büro-Typ-Sitz und einem langen Sofa, das wahrscheinlich das dritte Bett, ein TV, einen Haartrockner und Tee-/Kaffee-Herstellungseinrichtungen sein kann. Das kostenlose WLAN war schnell und zuverlässig. Das Badezimmer war auch spotless und hatte die intelligente Tür-Arrangement, die das gesamte Badezimmer oder nur die Toilette privat machen kann. Die geräumige Dusche war ausgezeichnet mit einem Duschegel-Dispenser. Die Attraktion mit HI-Ex Hotels ist das inklusive Frühstück, so gibt es keine kostenintensiven Schocks, die Sie oft mit Budget Hotels erreichen. Ungewöhnlich, aber sehr willkommen, eröffnete es um 6:30 Uhr. Das Lebensmittelangebot Buffet war mehr als adäquat, heiße Sauce, Bacon, Bohnen, geschrotet Eier, plus eine Auswahl an Getreide, Krusten, Toast und frisches Obst. Tee/Kaffee natürlich, plus Bäcken, so dass Sie in einer Eile einen Bäckenbap und dash off machen können. Wenn Sie nichts finden können, was hier zu mögen, dann sind Sie wirklich hart zu besuchen! Die Anne ist ein sehr freundliches und hilfreiches Hotel.

The staff on the night Dean and Dee were amazing very cooperative and friendly. I received all the help and support that I needed. Georgia the event manager was very helpful also provided me with all the information that I needed and got everything sorted for our event making it less stressful for me.The venue itself is extremely well kept very tidy and you get a lot of space for a very reasonable price. I am very happy about my experience at the robinswood hotel and would definitely recommend:)

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life 50 years of staying in hotels and nothing prepared me for a experience like this PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL Was shown to my room and TV was broken ,So I asked to be moved It was late at night, so I got settled popped the tv on and started to fall asleep Was woken up by a buzzing sound , turned the lights on and never seen anything like it in my life 100s of flies all over the room Dead , half dead and flying around I went down stairs to complain and say i will be leaving and would like a refund I was told aggressively by the staff that maybe I left food out , and sometimes flies going that room They offered me some fly spray I asked for a refund and they said no refunds you booked the room I would not leave with out my money back and they rang the police saying I would not leave Police arrived seen the room and told me to report them to environmental health and was so sympathetic towards me Staff frightened me and I have never felt so scared in my life and upset Never got a refund they point blank refused and said it’s only a few flies But there was over 100 As I packed in a hurry I left my perfume there , I went back asked for my £100 perfume back and they had stolen it and said it’s not in the room I have sent the photos to environmental health , And they will be taking it further Awful staff , WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN
