Stayed here as a couple for one night. Room was large, clean, minimalistic and warm. Good sized bathroom with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful for us. Free parking in a secure area. Downside was that there was no hot water in our bathroom sink and the water was a mere trickle. The sink was also tiny causing me to splash water when washing my face. Shower pressure was not great. There was no mirror in the bedroom area so I couldn’t wash my hair as no mirrors next to a plug to dry it. Mirror in bathroom was good but obviously I can’t plug my hairdryer and straighteners in there. We also couldn’t assess our outfits for the next day as no large mirror. We just nodded at each other that we looked ok. Bed was comfy if a little on the soft side but we slept well. Would we stay again…….probably as it was convenient for us but I’ll ask for a different room.

third visit to this hotel rooms are to a very high spec and very modern and spotless clean hotel in centre of town with plenty to do on the high street and 50 yards from a lovely park food in hotel is excellent and plenty of it staff were so nice receptionist /night porter/waitress and even the cleaner said hope you have a lovely day will be back 10 out of 10 David ayrshire

Food was great, staff was brilliant, can’t wait to go back, was my first time here, credit to the team behind the scene, (chefs), good to have this local,outdoor area looks good aswell,heard mixed reviews about this place, defo great place to try sith family or friends.

Nur ein Übernachtungsverhältnis. Schönes und gut ausgestattetes Hotel in Holzboden am Ende einer langen Fahrt. Gutes Doppelzimmer mit allem, was nötig EXCEPT ein anständiges WiFi-Signal. Es ist ein altes Rambo-Gebäude und das hat vielleicht zu einem schlechten Signal beigetragen, sowohl für WLAN als auch für Mobilfunk. Das war ein bisschen ein Schmerz, aber nicht einmal ein Problem, mich wieder aus dem Aufenthalt zu lassen, wenn ich durch die Gegend passiere.

Loved our overnight stay, spacious room despite being made up with large king size bed and two single beds. Very clean. Lovely staff. Ate at Harry’s bistro within the hotel and food was piping hot and lovely. Great outdoor area at the back with seating and seats to the front too. Stunning view from room 205 with views of the bridges in the distance. A wee pal too with a seagull who liked to tap on the window.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel als IHG-Gruppenhotel können Sie über Qualität versichert werden. Personal ist wirklich nett und freundlich. Als ich ankam, wurde mir ein Doppelzimmer gegeben, während ich ein Doppelzimmer reserviert. Nicht ihre Schuld, sondern der Partner der Reise. Com. Keine andere Doppelbett verfügbar so fragte ich sie, zwei Einzelbetten zusammen zu stellen, so dass ich nicht abfallen in der Nacht. Lol. Sie waren tote schön und tat es für mich. Niedriges Umfeld nicht weit von der nahe gelegenen Bahnhof. Will defo zurück gehen, um zu bleiben

Ich habe diese Unterkunft für eine Nacht mit zwei Freunden gebucht. Am Ankunftsdatum wurde wiederholt geschrieben, um die Ankunftszeit zu bestätigen, während ich noch reiste, trotz Bestätigung, dass wir zwischen 1700-1800 sein würden. Bei der Ankunft im Gasthaus gab es keine Mitarbeiter, die Zimmerschlüssel wurden auf dem Empfangstisch hinterlassen und die Vordertür wurde geöffnet. Als Frau fühlte ich mich sofort unsicher. Das Hotel war voll reserviert und ich und zwei Männer Freunde waren oben in Zimmern ohne Suite, es waren sechs Zimmer im Stock mit einem Badezimmer mit WC, so dass die Toilette mit eingeschaltet, wenn ein Gast eine Dusche hatte. Kein Personal für irgendeine Hilfe sichtbar. Ich verließ die Räumlichkeiten und meine beiden männlichen Kollegen blieben. Das Frühstück bestand aus Kaffeemaschinen, Getreidebars und Obst, um Ihnen noch keine Mitarbeiter anwesend zu helfen. Dies ist eine nicht rückzahlbare Buchung. Ich gab es einen Stern, da es keine Option für Null-Sterne gab.

My partner and I arrived late after a flight to Edinburgh airport and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff in the nightshift. The whole hotel looked freshly decorated with new fixtures and fittings, all of which seemed of a very high quality. Our room (room 4) was wonderfully appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served very quickly. For what we paid this hotel is worth a 10/10 any day!!
