Großes kleines Hotel. Zum Theater gingen, so brauchte man irgendwo in der Nähe und billig. Das war es! Komfortable Bett und sehr sauberes Zimmer.recht vor, Blick auf das Meer in Zimmer 22 und das große Rad. Bestimmt empfehlen würde. Ich habe andere Bewertungen gesehen, die sagen, es ist laut, aber Sie sind auf der Front so wahrscheinlich.

When I booked this ( through the well known booking portal)I knew it was going to be very budget but it was within my price range for one nights stay so I ****** it up. How wrong I could be . On arrival there was no parking as stated on the booking however put my van on a side street no issues. I was greeted in the hotel by a lady called Becky who I believe is the manager she kindly offered my to park my van in side entrance if I wanted . She took me to my room and ok so it was basic but goodness whoever is the cleaning housekeeping staff needs commending , my room & bathroom were spotless . Comfortable bed nice warm room had everything I needed. I went to the local Wetherspoon for food which I have to say was excellent. I got a nice glass of wine back at the hotel had a nice chat to Becky. Booked a breakfast which was cooked by herself… again amazing full English no complaints whatsoever again everything clean and well presented & only £7.00!! I cannot fault the hotel for what I paid and if I’m working in the area again I will definitely return . I hope the owner see this and appreciated the hard work Becky does as she really is hands on and keeps everything running smoothly

Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch-Stadtzentrum, vor dem Strand, Meerblick. Parkplatz ist ok, am Hinterhof. Personal ist sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit, lassen Sie uns in 1 Stunde vor der offiziellen Kontrolle in der Zeit. Klangbeleuchtung ist gut, hat unsere Nachbarn nicht gehört. Das Frühstück war lau, frisch und schmeckt. In diesem Gebäude verkauft sich selbst. Das Gebäude ist müde, aber glücklicherweise erhalten. Gräte im Zimmer weinen, Staub wird nicht für Tage gewaschen (wenn nicht Wochen), Fernseher war sehr stinkend und nicht arbeiten, unser Bett war klein und kurz für zwei von uns (Königsgröße, glaube ich), Wasserdruck in der Dusche war zu schwach, Carpets mit allen möglichen Farben, wie ein Sofa, sehr unbehaglich; wartete auf unser Frühstück für mehr als eine halbe Stunde (obwohl ich mein vegetarisches Frühstück erhalten habe, wie ich bei meiner Buchung gebeten habe), Kaffee war nur sofort. Ich denke, ein Nachtaufenthalt war zu preiswert für das, was es hat, aber der Gesamteindruck ist immer noch ziemlich gut. Zusammenfassung - wenn Sie eine gute Lage mit einfachem Zugang zum Stadtzentrum und zum Strand wollen - hier gehen Sie, nur nicht viel erwarten

We have the same room each year. Previously it was a messy layout, this year a real effort had been made and it was very comfortable except for the ventilation. Both windows can only be opened fifty millimetres and there is no air-conditioning. The provided fan stirs the air somewhat but it was still uncomfortable during the hot weather, Breakfast requires the staff to take action to keep food and liquids topped up Balanced provision is necessary, e.g. not all marmalades one day and all jams the next. The constant requests for dishes etc. should not be necessary.

(A little better than average, but it went from average to very good - no option for ‘good’) I’ve been to this hotel spa many times over the years and I noticed that there’s been quite a few changes since my last visit. We were welcomed really nicely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, except a couple of people who i guess may have either been new or just a bit shy because i had to ask them to repeat themselves as we were confused about what they were explaining. Our twin room was strange but only because our beds were on opposite sides of the room, which I’ve never experienced before in a twin room, regardless of who you are sharing with you’re going to be comfortable in close quarters and it was just strange being so far apart. No biggie though. The next thing was that there was no fridge in the room - so we had to put up with room temperature water to hydrate us (no complementary bottled water either). I went with my niece and both of our treatments were great, really relaxing and couldn’t fault the beauticians. The restaurant and food options have changed a great deal. I was telling my niece beforehand how much she will adore the food and how great it is, all being healthy but all yummy too. But now it’s just the same type of hotel food you’d expect anywhere else. The breakfast particularly used to be so much on offer, granola of all kinds, lots of healthy options, honey and preserves from local farms, an array of pastries and if you asked you could have cooked breakfast options. This visit was less of an emphasis on health - lots of cooked breakfast options, a toast machine and a small selection of cereals and pastries. I don’t mean to sound really demanding but I was a little disappointed about this aspect. All of the little issues combined just made it no where near as incredible as it used to be. I really hate to say this because Lifehouse Spa has always been a really special treat and experience. I haven’t made my mind up whether I would return again.
