Wir blieben hier, als wir das Food Festival besuchten. Wir waren vorhin geblieben und der Landsherr erinnerte sich an uns. Es gibt gutes WLAN. Sehr. Freundliches Personal erlaubte uns, frühzeitig ins Gefrierfach zu prüfen und Dinge in ihren Kühlschrank zu setzen. Wir haben mit dem Landeherr und der Wächterin am Frühstück einen guten Lachen gemacht. Das Frühstück wurde frisch gekocht, um mit Getreide und Toast zu bestellen, wenn es wollte. Wir waren in Zimmer 207, das ist zwei Treppenflugs und das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug ist für jemanden mit Mobilitätsproblemen nicht geeignet. Wir wollten am Sonntag Abend Abend essen, aber sie schließen um 5 Uhr aber wir wurden Platten und Gewürze angeboten, wenn wir in einem Abzug bestellen wollten, was wir getan haben. Die Chinesen (ich denke es war Mama’s) zwei Türen entfernt ist zu empfehlen.

We were visiting Melton Mowbray for a large family reunion and know the town well as I grew up there. However, this was our first visit to the Sysonby Knoll Hotel and we decided to stay for three nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, with a good sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a continental buffet and also hot food cooked to order. We ate dinner on one evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The bar was cosy and welcoming. The gardens were delightful to sit in and relax with a drink. The private car park was secured each evening. We look forward to returning.

Our party of 9 plus a small dog had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. From start to finish we were made very welcome we ate outside in the lovely garden. The food was excellent all well presented and the staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One member of our party has coeliac disease so having a gluten free menu was particularly important and he really enjoyed his pasta dish. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their visit to The White Lion. Thank you.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Bingham Townhouse and as before we found it very enjoyable and extremely good value for money with full breakfast included. Our room was a nice size, very clean and had a comfortable bed. There was also a good selection of tea and coffee with biscuits. Also provided was a TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All the staff are very polite and friendly and really make you feel welcome. The breakfast was extremely good with plenty of choices but the highlight of our stay was the amazing Cantonese Restaurant situated downstairs where the food is scrumptious. We shall definitely visit this hidden little gem in the beautiful market town of Bingham again next year. Thankyou all for your wonderful hospitality.

We enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay at Allington Manor to break up a long journey. It's the most beautiful Jacobean Manor house and the garden is gorgeous. We stayed in the Lady's Room at the front of the house which was absolutely stunning, complete with a four-poster bed, roll top bath and huge fireplace. I enjoyed reading about the history of the house in the book in the room. Breakfast was delicious and hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay at Allington Manor if travelling through the area again. Thank you for a lovely stay!
