Unser Zimmer geht zum Innenhof, bekommt daher nur von dort Licht, ist also etwas dunkler. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist funktionell, passend, aber auch originell. Wir haben erfreut festgestellt, dass die Bettanlage, anders als andernorts,nicht knarzt, wir 2 Ablagen neben dem Bett, also für jeden einzeln eine, ausreichend Ablageplatz für unsere beiden Koffer und Rucksäcke, einen grossen Spiegel und einen Schrank, im Bad sofort warmes Wasser verfügbar war und ausreichend Platz, Das Waschbecken rundum ausreichend Fläche für die Ablage der Kosmetiktasche bot. Mit Spannung schauten wir auf das Frühstück, das flott individuell aufbereitet und umfangreich war. Mal abgesehen von dem etwas dunklen Schlafraum.... das insgesamt beste Hotelangebot seit 2 Wochen Rundreise

My girlfriend and I stayed at El Mirador Del Cocora for three nights during our visit to Salento and highly recommend it. First, the positives. The views are absolutely breathtaking. This hotel offers the best view in Salento; it’s like having your own private mirador. There’s nothing better than waking up to such stunning scenery. As for the amenities, we booked the Deluxe Double Room with a Bath (room 104), which featured an indoor jacuzzi with the same perfect view. Enjoying a cold beer from the minibar while soaking in the hot tub was a highlight. The room also had air conditioning, although it wasn’t necessary as Salento gets quite chilly at night. Additionally, the service at the hotel is impeccable. The staff are incredibly friendly, constantly checking in on how you’re doing and eager to help with even the smallest questions or needs. Now, the downsides. The WiFi signal in our room was poor, so we had to rely on our mobile network, which was disappointing. The breakfast was subpar compared to other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Another small issue is the hotel’s location. The Amazing view comes with a price. The hotel is situated at the top of the town, which means a climb every time you go out and return. It’s not a deal breaker but requires some planning. In summary, despite these minor issues, I still wholeheartedly recommend El Mirador Del Cocora. We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff are the nicest people, and the views are gorgeous.
