We booked this hotel due to the location and price. Our room was older which is to be expected. Stay overall was good but upon arrival there were some questionable people standing outside the ****** smoking cigarettes and ********* too close to the doors. Not exactly the welcoming I was hoping for! Upon check in the lady at the front desk was not very welcoming and seemed quite grumpy. We got into our room which has a double bed and single twin sized bed which was fine for myself and 2 children. The room was stuffy and the window only opened about 3 inches but the AC did work. Our bathroom had no towels so I had to call down and ask for more which wasn’t a big deal. Location was wonderful and we were able to walk to Granville coffee in the morning and the bakery for breakfast. There were lots of homeless people hanging around that area of town and close to the parking lot which has me a little worried but they do have outside cameras. Overall decent stay and I would take the kids back mostly due to the location of it being in the centre of town.

Wir prüften dieses Hotel auf Empfehlung eines örtlichen Einwohners. Wir waren nicht enttäuscht. Dies ist eine sehr saubere Unterkunft mit umfangreicher Parkplätze. Das Front Desk Personal war ausgezeichnet und für ein Zimmer ohne Reservierung geplant. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Das Internet war ausgezeichnet. Obwohl das Hotel nahe der Autobahn ist, war es sehr ruhig. Es ist nahe dem Geschäftsviertel und innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu mehreren Restaurants. Ich würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen, und ich würde es meine erste Wahl machen, wenn ich aus irgendeinem Grund wieder in Quesnel bleiben würde.

Where to begin? Unfortunately I can't give this establishment a good review. I was told it was new owners who recently took over the motel. And I hope they got it at a bargain basement price. There are so many things wrong with this place that it will be an expensive renovation. The grounds are overgrown, the rooms smelled bad and are quite dated. The fans don't work, the ice machine is 'unhygienic'. The ice bucket was dusty. It is a good 'working mans' motel as there were a number of company vehicles. The only compliment I can offer is to the young man in the Hawaiian shirt. He was the nicest and friendliest person that I have ever met. He is a real asset to this place. I wish them luck to get this place up to a Super 8 standard.

But I draw the line at a dirty bathroom that has lots of black hair in the tub and a dirty toilet
Also the lighting is rather dark in the room so I didn't notice until this morning that the ceramic cup I was using to add water to the coffee maker was dirty
Thankfully I had brought in my tim Hortons cup to use
Yuk I opted not to have a shower this morning
My hair color is blonde and Grey
