Stayed overnight in a lake view studio. Bed super comfy and outlook from balcony relaxing. Warm welcome from reception. Easy secure parking and lift available. Walking distance to shops and cafes as well as lakeside recreation area. Children’s play area across the road. Accommodation to suit all ages and whilst on a corner, was quiet with door shut. Some coat hangers in wardrobe and another hook in bathroom would make it perfect. Look forward to returning.

The Catalina Motel is my 'go-to' whenever I visit the area. The rooms are clean and well-presented, the owners and staff are friendly and accommodating, and nothing is too much trouble. The ladies who service the rooms are a delight, always smiling and happy, they take pride in a job well done, and it is obvious. On my recent stay, Eleanor, the owner, asked if I needed anything to make my stay more comfortable. I didn't at that moment, however, I said ' Well, I will be knocking on your door about 5 pm to get some ice for my scotch.' I didn't have to knock, at around 4.45 Eleanor tapped on my door to deliver a tub of ice. I might add that she repeated this the following day, with no prompt needed. Now how is that for service!!!! she even had a charger to fit my phone. I highly recommend the Catalina Motel, I can't wait for my next visit.

Got to say this place is the cleanness and most friendly place I have stayed. The room a nice and spacious beautiful and clean. You can walk into your room and go WOW. You can smell the freshness. The staff was amazing seeing such a beautiful young lady working there Lilly you could not be more helpful. It was lovely to see you for our whole 3 day stay. With a smile and always asked how we was going every morning and what we was up to for that day. It was lovely to know people still care. And to come back after a day out our room was made up and all fresh again like we hadn't been there 🙃. Honestly this place is amazing from the moment you arrive reception was so easy to check in and grab our key. Beautiful waterfront straight across from this place was amazing spent the afternoons walking. And the views and sunsets were just WOW. BIG 5 FROM US we will be back. Thank you to Lilly and Tanya for making our stay fell so lovely and safe.

The hotel's location was great for exploring Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Central Coast. It has a bar restaurant with good food and beer and great services. The only downside was it was undergoing renovations causing a little bit of inconvenience, but this is a good thing for the future anyway ;)

Wir sind keine schmutzigen Leute. Wir wollten einen Schlafplatz und das ist darüber. Große Aussichten direkt am See sauber und sauber Zimmer. Beste Dusche habe ich je in einem Hotelzimmer. Bett war wirklich komfortabel. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich, obwohl es keinen täglichen Service für die Zimmer, aber man kann Dinge wie neue Handtücher beantragen. Keine Doona im Bett nur ein Schrank und zwei Blätter fühlten sich nur gering und leicht. Bad ist sehr datiert, aber alles funktionierte gut. Die Außenseite des Hotels ist zerstreut und müde. Schneiden Sie das Gras schneiden die Kanten die Decken. Neue Kisten für die riesigen expandierenden Anlagen in ihnen. Druck waschen das Beton und wiederversiegeln und werfen alle Outdoor-Möbel und ersetzen. Ein bisschen gemütlich würde den Ort so viel besser aussehen. Für $ 100 Geld pro Nacht war es ok.

When the wife pulled into the car park I started going off my head. I was like why the hell did you book this. We’ll.. I’m glad she did. 15 mins from our gig in Newcastle and 5 mins to Warners Bay esplanade. Great, dark rooms, modern decor, overall very well presented. Great rooms, good price, will def stay here again.
