The European Hotel retains much of its distinctive style but it IS different under the new management. Miss Maud is on an extended break but it looks like the wonderful buffet cafe/restaurant on the corner has gone forever. There is a small coffee shop as part of the complex. We were disappointed with the service. Offerings were fairly limited and not cheap. But there are other options nearby. The hotel is now more Eurasian. There is nothing wrong with that of course. Staff at reception are professional but can be curt at times. I endorse the comment of the reviewer who mentioned information about wifi and password was not freely given at check-in. Having said that, the free wifi was very good. Room was as we expected. Comfortable but the airconditioning took a little while to get used to. The hotel is an easy walk from Perth railway station so it is convenient for people using the new (October 2022) airport line. Public bus services pass close by. Many businesses in the area have closed down but the hotel surroundings are generally safe. However, some patrons may feel a little uneasy about some of the local street and homeless people.

Lovely little hotel, about 15 mins walk from city center. Would recommend having a car as buses to/from city are not consistent. (or walk!) Decent room size but no work table. So it’s much more a leisure hotel. Went down to the cafe to work most mornings. Very helpful staff, available round the clock. Timely clean ups of room. Loved the auto lights when late at night, under the side tables. So thoughtful. Very near Kings Park - where you can hot up to for a coffee or meal. Affordable and comfortable stay.

Ein sehr geliebtes Designhotel, die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt an der Nordbrücke, es ist die Bar Street. Das Nachtleben am Wochenende ist sehr heiß und außergewöhnlich. Die Halle hat einen Kunstgefühl. Im ersten Stock gibt es eine Bar, das Frühstück im zweiten Stock, natürlich, kann man hier jederzeit einen Kaffee oder Tee machen. Es gibt eine Terrasse im oberen Stock, die Landschaft zu sehen, und es ist auch gut, zu einer privaten Party zu trinken. Die Schönheit ist, dass das erste Zimmer, das man an einem Leitungsschrank gegeben hat, fühlt sich an, dass die Schlafkammer den Schlaf beeinflussen wird, so dass es ein Zimmer wechselt, und das Ergebnis ist auch ein bisschen dunkel, weil es keine Verbindung zwischen dem Fenster im Ecke hat. Das war ein unerwarteter Besuch. Wir hatten eine Komödie-Show im Brisbane Hotel reserviert, aber konnten nicht einmal vor der Show ein Essen bekommen, so gingen wir zum Northbridge Hotel. Das ist ein unverständliches Hotel, aber erstaunliches Gut. Wir bestellen Lebensmittel und Getränke und genossen das Essen sorgfältig. Getränke waren auch großartig mit Spezialitäten und zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Es gab hier eine vernünftige Menge Menschen, aber es war ein großer Ort für ein Chat und etwas zu essen. Er wird zurückkommen.

Stayed at City Quarters on Brewer for a business trip. Found it very convenient and easy to access specially after hours. The room was very well presented clean and tidy. Location was excellent right on the CBD fringe and walking distance to all popular entertainment and precincts. I would definitely recommend for holiday, business or leisure.

FLEE THIS PLACE !! This hotel is anything except a youth hostel. Boring as hell, no backpackers in it while on their website they say they are a hotel for backpackers, the wifi doesn't work, the pictures of are not at all like the reality; the sofas inside and outside are all torn and dirty, the sofas in the large common room downstairs act as a bed for most people. And the most scandalous thing is that the hotel is infested with BED BUGS !! First of all, when we arrived on November 16th, we learned that, unfortunately, due to the number of people in the hotel, we were obliged to change rooms during our stay. Unless I'm mistaken, this information is not written on your website at the time of booking, so the least you can do is to ask if this change is a problem for the client.... After talking to some people I learned that bed fleas are present in the hotel. I go directly to the reception to ask that they don't change my room but they guarantee me that the whole hotel has been ”professionally treated” and that I have nothing to worry about. So when I changed rooms, I didn't worry that there might be some in that room because of what I had been told. But to my surprise, one night when I went to bed, there was a bed bug walking around on the bed! The next morning, once the hotel staff knew about it, I had to change rooms again (former room infested with bed bugs that the two French brothers had been victims of) as soon as possible. Once back in my new room I lay down on the bed and against the wall I see again a bed bug! In the morning, all they could tell me was that I had to leave the room and the hotel the next day, because there was supposedly no more room ”available” even though I had booked for more than a week. So in less than 24 hours, I had to find a new hotel in emergency despite my work. This hotel lacks professionalism like I have never seen before. Finally, no one freaks out about bed fleas, the manager only changes people in their rooms which spreads the bed fleas throughout the hotel.

Ich habe kein Frühstück gewählt, im Grunde kann ich das Frühstück selbst machen. Die Einrichtungen des Hotels sind sehr vollständig und können genutzt werden. Das Zimmer ist sauber und die Lage ist gut. Es liegt in der Nähe von Restaurants und Supermärkten.

Clean and comfortable stay. Walkable to many shops and food outlets. The only gripe is that the paid parking is one street away. The room is neat and clean. The dryer and washer are clean and well-maintained - surprised that the lint filter is clean and empty, unlike some accommodation that don't bother to empty it. Spare pillows provided in the cupboards if you need additional ones. Would be good if a trash bin can be provided at the living area, and a drying rack for wet dishes. Pleasant and helpful staff. Note that the front desk is open till 11pm only. For late arrivals, do inform them. We reached at about 8pm and none of the street parking outside the apartments was not available so it was cumbersome to move all our luggages along with our kids. The entrance is not barrier-free (3 small steps into the main door) so travellers with heavy luggages might require some help. The building is secure with a tap access lock into the main door.
