We booked 2 rooms for a 3 night stay while in town for a funeral. Paid $1009 each ($336/night). VERY pricey for what it is. No blackout curtains, so the frosted window light woke us up very early. Missing basic things you expect in even the most basic of hotels. No boxes of kleenex, no ice bucket, no cable TV, no room service/cleaning while we were there to make beds, change out towels, etc... Positives are it was clean, relatively quiet (our rooms were on the second floor), and beds were comfy. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. The first night we couldn't get any TV at all in either of our two rooms, and didn't have our logins with us to sign in to our own streaming services. The next day I called front desk about cable and they just said "no cable" with no other info to help us figure things out. I ended up trying unplugging the ROKU thing on my own, and that reset the system so we could at least get some Roku live TV, which was better than nothing! When we checked in we were told to call front desk if we needed anything. Day 2 I called to ask for 2 towels and was told to go to a housekeeping room and get them myself. At check in I asked about any gluten free options (husband has a gluten and dairy allergy) with the complimentary continental breakfast and the only option was fruit. We ended up going to a grocery store to get him his own breakfasts. Nice that we had a fridge and microwave in the room to use. We were there during a heat wave, and the air conditioner in my aunt's room was ridiculously loud. The "ambient noise" recorded on her sleep apnea machine was off the charts and she had a very hard time sleeping. The a/c in our room was fine, just sounded like a monster gargling when the condensation drained periodically. The key cards are a nightmare. They had to be reset multiple times during our stay, and if one stopped working they both stopped working. Definitely not fun during a heat wave when you just want to get into your cool room!
