Hotels in Amphoe Chiang Khong mit Frühstück

Wir blieben nur für eine Nacht vor dem Überqueren nach Laos. Das Hotel überraschte mich völlig. Das Personal war so hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant war wirklich gut und die Ansichten waren erstaunlich, dass gerade auf dem Mekong nach Laos zu sehen ist. Wir blieben in einem Flussblick im Resort-Bezirk des Hotels - das Zimmer war sehr schön, sehr sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten, und der Blick vom Balkon war erstaunlich. Ich hoffe, dass ich nach Chiang Khong zurückkomme und für ein paar Tage im Teak Garden bleiben, um wirklich das Hotel und die Stadt zu genießen.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was in poor condition with broken doors poorly patched up doors into the bathroom, safe not working and a bed that was as hard as lying on concrete. The view was great from the balcony across the Mekong but that was the only good thing about this hotel room. There were a few other guests staying there at the same time as us but they left early because the noise from functions in their function room downstairs was extreme, and went on night after night until the early hours, Then the participants were allowed to go into other areas of the lower floor to continue the drunken behaviors without any intervention from staff. The other privately booked patrons all left early because nothing was done to control these people. We were the only ones left. Breakfast was determined by the choices made by the function groups, and is not the buffet breakfast the claim to provide and is not the breakfast we paid for as they describe. If you really feel the need to stay at this place you would be better going for a short walk along the river and having breakfast elsewhere because the breakfasts offered were poor and most of it was cold. The hotel also is reported to have a restaurant. True it does but they will only offered us a choice of 3 dishes that is the same as the function is offering to their participants. We had our order taken from these 3 dish menu only to then sit there for nearly an hour waiting for the food. The order was taken by the restaurant manager, but he chose to go to another table and sit with the hotel manager and drink beer and eat a huge bowl of chips. We are not sure if the order was even given to the kitchen staff, and when we asked what was going on there was no explanation, we were just asked to wait another 15 minutes. When we complained again it was magically there in about 5 minutes. We found other places to eat after that. The pool and the free use of hotel bicycles were pluses. The pool was well shaded from the sun, was clean and refreshing. There are bike tracks right outside the hotel along the river which are flat and easy to ride. Very few of the staff had any English, which is fine considering its Thailand, but even when you translated to Thai for them they were not helpful (particularly the management). They were solely focused on the groups in the functions and we felt very much like inconveniences in their way. I normally don't give reviews for a bad hotel but this place was exceptionally uncomfortable and poorly managed. In short we would never stay at this hotel again and suggest anyone that is considering this hotel look at one of the many other hotels that are nearby, and be assured any on the riverfront the same views of the river, with often better rates for their rooms and restaurants where they value your patronage.

Namkhong Resort ist ein so schöner Ort, neben der Hauptstraße, aber ruhige und friedliche Atmosphäre überall im Besitz. Das Zimmer war wirklich komfortable, komplett aus Holz, große Räume und guten Patio. Die Toiletten hier waren geteilt, sauber und zahlreiche. Genau hinter den Holzhäusern finden Sie einen großen Schwimmbad, die Zeit war sauber und einfach perfekt!

Öffnen Sie das Fenster, um die Far Sai, die alte Grenzstadt gegenüber dem Mekong-Fluss, zu sehen. Dies ist eine hervorragende Lage, umgeben von der Natur. Obwohl es weit vom Zentrum von Zhengkan entfernt ist, können Sie zu Fuß zu Tee und Café kommen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, eine einfache Zeit zu verbringen. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und sauber. Der Hall ist auch sehr offen und voller Naturgefühl. Empfohlen.

Freundliches Personal, Restaurants und Supermarkt sind wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Ich wünsche mir, es gab weniger Lärm von den Autos in der Nacht. ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum örtlichen Bushalte von Chiang Khong.

Reisen rund um Nordthailand kam ich zu Siam Tara. Ich war eine Weile auf dem Weg und war froh, ein paar Tage in diesem wunderschönen Resort zu verbringen. Das Bett war groß wie das Toilette und Dusche. Ich verbrachte viel Zeit im großen Pool. Das Resort ist in einer Spazierweiterung zum Mekong-Fluss mit Blick auf Laos auf der anderen Seite. John der Manager nahm mich vom Bus und ließ mich auch zurück. Ein paar Tage gut verbrachte, um meine Batterien wiederzuladen. Danke John

Das Zimmer ist geräumig und komfortabel eingerichtet: ein Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, ein Tisch mit zwei Stühlen (was selten vorkommt). Schneeweiße Bettwäsche. Es gibt einen öffentlichen Arbeitsbereich mit kostenlosem Kaffee. Das Hotel liegt zwei Minuten vom wunderschönen Mekong-Damm entfernt. Der Eingang liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße, eine Suche ist nicht nötig. Der Nachteil ist, dass es nur Parkplätze für drei Autos gibt.

We stayed for one night before crossing the border into Laos. Chiang Khong is actually a nice little town with a nice riverside promenade and a few bars and restaurants. Worth a nights stay. Obviously a lot of the hotels and businesses were set up before the new bridge was built and the town was the ferry departure point for Laos. Consequently there are a lot of good deals and Baan Fai was one. The guest house is on the Main Street but our room was set back from the road. Very clean, lots of wood, comfy bed, ac and fan and a small balcony. The room was quite small though. Easy walk to everywhere. Bargain for a night.

I had a great stay at Sleeping Well in Chiang Khong, a cozy and comfortable guesthouse in the charming town of Chiang Khong, near the border with Laos. The owner, Nok, was very friendly and helpful, she gave me a warm welcome and arranged a transfer to the border for me. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with a balcony overlooking the Mekong river. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was delicious and generous, with fresh fruits, eggs, toast, coffee and juice. The guesthouse also has a lovely garden and a common area where you can relax and meet other travelers. The location is convenient, close to the main street, the market and the pier. I highly recommend Sleeping Well in Chiang Khong if you are looking for a peaceful and pleasant place to stay in this area
