WoodSpring Suites Chesapeake-Norfolk Greenbrier

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! It smelled, the floor was sticky and the furniture was damaged. The refrigerator was rusty. The walls are paper thin so you cannot sleep. There are no bedside lamps to read with. The building is surrounded by rat traps. The man at the front desk was friendly.

I was originally booked at another WoodSpring Suites in Chesapeake. They called me while I was on the road driving to the hotel to inform me due to "maintenance issues" they were moving me to this location. Both rooms booked smelled horrible. It smelled like Raid Bug Killer had been set off in each room. The beds were terrible, with thin covers. The refridgerators in both rooms were filthy on the outside. Marks were on many areas of the wall. The mirror in one bathroom had rust around the entire frame. You could see where holes had been punched into the walls and doors. The rooms were unacceptable and not a place a person could stay and feel safe and clean. I returned the keys and informed the office staff we would not be staying and to not charge us, as those rooms should not be offered at all in the condition they were in. I also was given a business card to the manager and sent an email describing the terrible condition of the rooms. I would recommend to NOT book a room here ever.

Ms. Kelly has been the sweetest person I've ever met that actually ran a property like she does!!! She's kind, she's highly professional, she make sure she does whatever she can to make sure your stay is comfortable! He smile alone will brighten up your day! This property is very clean and well maintained due to get and get wonderful staff! I would recommend this home seat from home to anyone! -C.W

The staff maintain a very clean and safe environment facility housekeeping, Miss Tracy, as well as the house man do an excellent job for the time I stay there they always keep the floors cleans the lobby always look pretty as well as the outside. They just got their parking lot Redone looks very nice and got some of there rooms renovated as well

When I checked in, I was to have a non-smoking room… I ended up in a smoking room. First impression was that the room was outdated, needed a coat of paint, and a bathroom without a hole in the door. The kitchenette was acceptable, although the refrigerator looked extremely old and they do not provide you with any of the basics, including a coffee maker, but you can purchase them from the front desk. The carpeted flooring was somewhat tacky to the bare feet, which I found out when I was awaken at 5:30 AM due to a fire alarm. The entire place looked as though it needed a major overhaul and much to my surprise. They did not even provide coffee to their guests in the morning. The front Suggested I go down the street to Starbucks. The bed was fairly comfortable, which was a plus and most of the staff was quite pleasant. Also, the location is not so bad since there is a major grocery store across the street gas station connected to the parking lot and a bar restaurant connected to the other end of the lot. There is also a nice shopping center across from the hotel as well as the aforementioned Starbucks And other amenities.

The bed was so comfortable... omg I melted when Iayed in it. The room was very clean and had a great smell to it. I informed the manager Ms. Biggs I was gonna write a review on the room. Because of how the staff treated my family and how clean it was. She also was a great person with a smile that lights up a room. My stay overall was a 10.... great job guys...

The hotel staff was very hospitable, polite, and respectful, and i immensley enjoyed my stay. I would recommend if you're visiting the area to check this hotel out. I will be staying here whenever i visit my family or friends or return for business

The hotel is in a prime location with groceries day to day shopping and night life atmosphere All Available within walking distance. Highways to the ocean front are right there it's a straight shot from your room to the sand and waves. The on site manager Dante is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay to the fullest and are able to take full advantage of all the in house and local amenities. The entire staff are all equally as nice and hospitable you'll never go without any necessity or have any complaints when your stay is over with.

The GSA Doug was a get help and had excellent service. Very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel for sure. If you’re traveling for business or just family trips definitely check out the Woodspring suites extended stay in Chesapeake, Va
