Hôtel le Tremplin

We booked this hotel through CrystalSki as a group of six expecting two, triple bedded rooms but ended up with doubles in both rooms. The hotel location is right outside the bus stop which has a freee bus service to the main lifts of Linga and Pré la Joux chairlifts which is ideal when you have finished skiing for the day and don't want to trudge up and down the street back to your hotel. If you are hiring skis then I would recommend Chez Maurice which is no more than 75m up the road from the hotel. SLightly higher rental price but the service was excellant. If you use other rental companies then these are quite a walk from the hotel, back into the village. There is a boot room in the basement of the hotel which is rather simple and not large enough for all the hotel guests, as there is only one heated boot rack to dry your boots on overnight. We found that other guests removed boots off of the dryers to hang their own. The sauna was out of use all the time that we stayed there which wasa s shame, but there is a small gym with a minimum of equipement, if that is what you need? Breakfast was the usual selection of cold meats and cheeses along with cereals, yoghurts and fruit juices. There are two coffee machines which dispense a reasonable cup of coffee in the morning. Evening meals were the highlight of our stay - the food is fantastic and each evening we were treated to at least four courses. The mid-week fondu/raclette evening was however, our favourite! Regional wines are served at the table which were excellant and a special mention should be given to our waiter, Tristan who kept us entertained and well served all week. WiFi was free and varied in signal strength throughout the hotel - nothing unusal about that, but pleased to say that it worked well. The staff prefer to speak French, so make an effort with them, they did appreciate it!!!

Encore un excellent séjour au Tremplin où nous avons nos quartiers depuis quelques années. Entre l’accueil chaleureux des Clement et leurs petites attentions, le cadre savoyard, la proximité du centre ville, la navette gratuite au pied de l’hôtel et les repas excellemment copieux du chef, rien à redire. Nous reviendrons.

Hôtel typique savoyard. Les propriétaires et leurs salariés sont extrêmement accueillants, polis et disponibles. Toujours un mot sympathique pour nous et une disponibilité sans faille pour adapter le menu aux enfants. Le dîner en demi pension est très bon et copieux. Rapport qualité-prix très bon. Encore merci.
