Beliebte 4-Sterne-Hotels in Charlottetown

Nach eher mässigen Hotels in Nova Scotia haben uns die zwei Nächte hier gut getan. Freundliche Damen beim Check-In, sehr nettes Zimmer im 7. Stock,ein toller Zimmerservice (Danke Iryna) und ein gut ausgestatteter Fitnessraum und einen Pool gab es auch. Alles wirklich gut,wäre da nicht die völlig ineffiziente Crew beim Frühstück. Um 0900 Uhr wurde von den Gästen erwartet, dass sie 15 Minuten warten sollen für einen Tisch, obwohl nur die Hälfte der Tische besetzt waren. Das geht absolut nicht.

Gute Lage, in der Nähe der großen Mall in der Kleinstadt Charlotte, das Zimmer und der Gesundheitszustand sind allgemein, es gibt drei Klimaanlagen-Gastgeber vor dem Fenster, die die ganze Nacht rumpeln, die Fenster können das Geräusch nicht stoppen, das Frühstück ist normal.

An old style Hotel nearby the city. You can explore the small city without your car. The most P.o.I. are far away, approx. 30 Minutes to 1 1/2 hour by car. The room are small but okay. Have all stuff you need. The rooms smells old , after one hour you forgot it . The room services is good. Breakfast room is big , but if you get a place directly under the air conditioner it is too cold( mean opinion). The front desk from the hotel is professional but if you pass the desk they guys seems indifferent: No hello or goodbye - but is is not a really important point. Different to the locals in Nova Scotia for example. Breakfast is good and enough. Ein Hotel im alten Stil in der Nähe der Stadt. Sie können die kleine Stadt ohne Auto erkunden. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind weit weg, etwa 30 Minuten bis 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber okay. Sie haben alles, was Sie brauchen. Die Zimmer riechen alt, nach einer Stunde haben Sie es vergessen . Der Zimmerservice ist gut. Der Frühstücksraum ist groß, aber wenn Sie einen Platz direkt unter der Klimaanlage bekommen, ist es zu kalt (meine Meinung). Die Rezeption des Hotels ist professionell, aber wenn Sie an der Rezeption vorbeigehen, wirken die Leute gleichgültig: Kein Hallo oder Auf Wiedersehen – aber das ist kein wirklich wichtiger Punkt. Ist hier wohl etwas anders, als die Einheimischen in Nova Scotia zum Beispiel. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend. Alles in allem für zwei ,drei Nächte einwandfrei und OK.

Erstaunlich von Anfang bis Ende. Neben einem erstaunlichen Eigentum in einem perfekten Bereich. Das Personal ist ihr größtes Vermögen. Besonders Emily, Ricardo und Fred. MHG erhält jede Details richtig, vor allem die Anstellung des besten Personals. Sie waren erstaunlich bei Buchung, Eincheckung, mein Aufenthalt und Auscheckung. Wir waren dort während eines Schneestorms. Sie schüttelten sogar mein Auto aus. Sie blieben in neu renoviertem Jacuzzi-Zimmer mit schönem Feuerplatz. Sie haben eine glückliche Stunde, die wir genossen haben(Wochennachten) Wir hatten das wunderschönste Scharfschlachtfeld in unserem Zimmer mit den wunderschönsten Käse und Fleisch. Eine der besten, die ich je hatte. Das Frühstück wurde meinem Zimmer serviert. Eier, Sauce, Hasenbraunen. Hands down das beste Eigentum auf PEI. Wenn Sie nach Romanze und Eleganz suchen. Hier ist der Ort.

Ein Super Hotel, schöne Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, Top Lage. Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in Charlottetown PEI. Man kann viel sehen und es hat noch viele kleine Läden in der Umgebung. Auch die Insel ist sehr schön und noch sehr natürlich. Anne auf Green Gable ist auf dieser Insel allgegenwärtig. Ist eine sehr interessante Geschichte und man macht mit einem Besuch nach Green Gable, ein Schritt in die Vergangenheit. Eine faszinierende Insel.

What a charming and quirky hotel. Charlottetown is a lovely small city, dotted with historic buildings. One of those is the Dundee Arms Inn. The lobby and common areas aren't air conditioned, and we arrived on a particularly warm day. I worried as I entered carrying our things up to our third floor room. Thankfully, the room had a very efficient air conditioner. The room had lots of character, almost magical. You enter into a sitting area with a sofa, tables, a desk, etc. To the left was a small but tasteful bathroom with the cutest little tub! The angles of the roof cast intriguing shadows. THe large and sturdy bed was situated in the turret, making for a tight squeeze for us larger men, but the space was a whimsical escape. The inn includes a large deck with numerous tables, mostly for drinks from the bar, but it's also a great place to dine on breakfast delivered from nearby eateries. The only real drawback is the lack of elevator. My advice for couples is to pack one small bag for both. That will save numerous trips up and down the stairs.

This small hotel is a busy place, with a great location if you want to discover downtown Charlottetown; you can park your car and walk wherever you need to go. The hotel is in a residential area and there is a parking lot behind the hotel so you don’t need to park on the street. We booked a studio room with a balcony and it was sufficient for our stay. There was a tiny kitchen area, comfortable King bed, small sofa and a small bathroom. We didn’t make much use of the balcony as the weather was not conducive for sitting outside. The decorating was plain and neat. The cleaning attendant was very pleasant. There are some nice inside sitting areas for guests and we never saw anyone sitting in them so probably a balcony is not necessary. (Your choice!) The common areas are beautifully decorated. The breakfast area is large and the tables are preset for your arrival. If you want a simple breakfast with cereal and toast, you can help yourself. There are servers who will take your order for a more substantial breakfast and there were 6 choices. We were there for three days and everything was great! Each morning there were very yummy muffins. The women who served the breakfast were friendly and greeted guests with a fresh fruit salad. Whoever prepared the meals did a great job. It’s important to note that there is no elevator so if stairs are a problem you might call ahead to see if there is room that will suit you. The hotel is locked and you need to ring for someone to open the door until you have your own entry pass. They send specific instructions with your confirmation for the entry and parking information.
