Monastery Garden Bistro & Rooms

My husband and I recently spent two nights in Cesky Krumlov. I decided to book Monastery Garden Bistro and Rooms after reading all of the glowing reviews of the place. I'm so glad I heeded the reviews, as I agree that the accolades are well earned. Although we had some confusion finding the right parking lot to be close to the property, once we checked in, we were able to get situated quickly. The staff at Monastery Garden were uniformly friendly, and we felt right at home. I especially liked the honesty bar, which was a nice touch after a day of sightseeing. We stayed in Room Six, which is a premium suite. It was marvelous! The bed was a king with a very comfortable mattress. That alone would have been enough for me to be really happy! The room was beautifully decorated, with chic designer touches and a really cool armoire that had a door opening into the huge bathroom with a clawfoot tub! The room also had two televisions. One was mounted on the wall by the huge sofa, and the other was hidden in a beautiful wooden cabinet. I think my favorite part of the stay was the two breakfasts we enjoyed. They were delicious, and yet almost too beautiful to eat. We stayed in four hotels on this trip, and Monastery Garden was the one that stood out for being a great place to get to know people. It really has a lovely homey atmosphere to go with the comfortable rooms. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in Cesky Krumlov.

Fabulous oldie type hotel, loads of character conveniently positioned in Prague central to castle, Jewish Quarter , bridges and all sites and river. Staff at hotel very friendly, room comfortable and more than satisfactory clean and tidy , loads of character at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but only a small dining area and could be busy . Easy to get around from there

We really loved this small, boutique hotel. The room was gorgeous and all of the decor really quirky but tasteful. Breakfast was incredible, the host charming, and the location unbeatable. My favourite hotel of my European trip.

Lovely family and couple B&B, quite and cozy and warming common area 😘 Room is good for 5 people! Bath is perfect 👍 tea,coffee, sweets are perfect 🤩 easy walk into town center, close to mini market! The host is very friendly and nice! Must come back with my hubby!❤️

If I could give Monastery Garden 100 out of 5 stars, I would. The service was impeccable, the decor beautiful and creative, and the food was excellent (the breakfast crepes were like a piece of art, covered in dainty flowers and fruit). And all of this at a very reasonable price, in the heart of this historic Czech town. Great for couples or families alike, highly recommended!!

I travel a lot, with maybe 50 stays throughout Europe at boutique hotels in the last 5 years. This might be the single nicest location I have ever stayed in. From the amazing breakfast, to the thoughtful and surprising rooms, the "honor bar" wine and cocktails, and all the small details along the way, we could not have had a better experience. The host is fantastic, when coming to breakfast chatting with the owners felt like coming to a friend's house for a visit. I could not come up with a single thing I would make better about the experience. Bravo, we will be back!

Lovely stay in a beautiful boutique hotel. Great breakfast lovingly presented - do not miss! Location was just perfect, and around from the castle and other places nearby. The room was spacious and well appointed, including the bathroom, hidden behind a poster door.

Je suis d’accord avec les commentaires sur le soin du détail de la décoration Aussi bon breakfast, salle de breakfast très jolie et cozy Aussi sur l’accueil ,… très aimable Bonne literie, la meilleure de notre trip bémols - ce sont des baignoires, donc entrée/sortie il devrait mettre une barre de sécurité - pas d’ascenseur - il faut apporter les bagages au plus pret puis aller garer la voiture en dehors du village Prévoyez une petite valise et laissez les grosses dans la voiture
