We stopped by earlier than check-in to ask them to hold our bags, but instead, they let us check in early. We paid below $80 for a one-night stay, and it served its purpose. The rooms are fundamental, and the refrigerator came in handy. Check-in is from 2 - 6:30 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. There are about five rooms with one walkway and no place to sit in our lounge to hang out except for your porch. The entire place will hear if you have a phone convo if outside. These are more like single rooms attached instead of cabanas. Our AC didn't work well in room #5, so it felt stuffy. We didn't experience any loud noise. The entry to the property has a security gate. The split is about 15-minute walk, but there are eateries and bars nearby. The front desk was very friendly and helpful with taxi numbers. Taxi's are $5 blz per person to anywhere on the island. They communicate via WhatsApp.

My wife and I traveled to Caye Caulker for 5 days. Dream Cabanas was a wonderful place to stay while in Caye Caulker. The room was large enough for the both of us. It had AC and a fan for when the weather got hot. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great for the both of us. The room had a coffee machine and small refrigerator which was very useful. I really enjoyed the layout outside of the rooms. It has a jungle vibe to it. Each room has a porch with chairs where I sat every morning and had coffee. This is also a gated area, where you need a key to get into the hotels, which made us feel even more safe. The staff was the best part of the place. Extremely friendly and sociable. They helped us with setting up taxis to the airport from Belize City. They were always very helpful and accommodating. The location is very nice. It is a short walk to the main roads. It is not located on the crowded streets, which made it more peaceful. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Very clean and comfortable! Not too far from the island center, which is good because it’s much more quiet. Ten minutes by feet from anything you could need, they provide you a bicycle if you want to move faster through the island. The staff is very kind, prepared and competent. Milly, Davide and Claudia can give you good advices on what to do in the island, like wonderful snorkeling tours as I did. You could ask them also where to go to eat, they know all the best places in the island, whether you want to eat Italian, American, Mexican or a typical Belizean meal like lobster! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to come here in Caye Caulker, and I will certainly return here!

I forgot her name, but the lady in charge was super helpful & sweet! She helped me with the taxis during my stay, recommended best food spots & helped me with water taxi timings. Room was cleaned everyday with cold water refills in the fridge. Affordable price + bike rentals. They even provide a booklet with all important activities & places to eat that you may not see on tripadvisor & hospital,bank & police info provided in the booklet as well! Wifi was really good, Ac + fan made everything much better after a hot day getting to cool off! Caye caulker is wonderful for solo travelers! Only thing I would say is, there were termites coming out from the sink (which is expected staying on an island) i’m also from an island so it didn’t bother me as much, but they got in my toothbrush (not the hotels fault), but maybe fumigate rooms before travelers arrive? Other than that everything was PERFECT! Thank you!

Great little spot 10 min walk to the Split. Modern, great A/C and run by a lovely owner. They will rent you bikes for $5USD a day, but honestly you don’t really need them. There was a bit of construction next to us in Room 1 but it didn’t bother us. They provide beach towels for you. Would definitely stay again

NO WATER in shower or bathroom sink. I clearly overpaid $80 USD per night for no bathroom water service. Do you have to pay extra $$$ for this simple service? No answer from office via call, text, etc. Toma Retired US Army Miami, FL Room 2

We booked our family vacation (7 people distributed in 4 rooms). There is a construction site right next to the apartments where the workers play loud music from 6.30 am. The first day we noticed that anybody from the hotel stuff was asking them to lower the loud music or try to deal with this obviously annoying situation so we complained politely ourselves directly to the workers and asked them to lower the music with no results. The day after the people in the construction site not only played music but once we complained they started playing louder while mocking us - especially the younger girls of the family. The situation became very tense since both sites started speaking louder and as expected guests in the two other rooms came out because of the noise. Apparently everyone was aware of the situation but the hotel staff. Note here that walls in these rooms are thin as paper so you are able to here what is happening loud and clear and the reception were the hotel staff is staying is right in the middle so no chance they did not listen to what was happening. However instead of us as guests-customers being some how protected by the business we were trying to short things out alone like we are the owners and responsibles for what was going on. We all got really upset and started knocking on the reception door hoping someone will come out and handle things as it should. The receptionist - who apparently is the one and only representative came out after some time and one of us was finally furious and was asking her to take some action and further refund us for the two coming booked nights since the situation was over the top. Milli, the incapable representative of the business preferred to start a hole drama because of our complaints instead of taking some action. Further she entitled herself as the lawyer of the island and 'explained' long story short that it is what it is just because we are on an island.... After we insisted to call the police, the officers explained otherwise, that music is allowed as long as it is not annoying for anybody. Milli then was very much into kicking us out right away but looks like her boss on the phone believed otherwise, because of course refunding full amount of 4 rooms and having them empty in the middle of the weekend is not pleasant for their business. We decided to leave the rooms and asked for our full refund for the 2 coming nights, but the amount was controversial since she was not willing to return the full amount and claiming that she has to charge us extra cleaning fees. Apparently after she calculated "better" the amounts to be returned we got back the full amount as it should since there was no logic on charging us extra as long as we were about to check out before 10 am which is the normal check out time. It is totally disrespectful for a business in tourism on an island that promotes calmness and peace, to be completely incapable to provide a decent staying. It looks like this construction

Cute, very-clean cabanas in Caye Caulker. The host was very friendly and helpful. Located in a residential neighborhood, not too far from the airport, but you can walk anywhere in Caye Caulker in 10-15 minutes. Great value!
