Wenn man nur vom Team (das durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war) und dem Frühstück (sehr lecker und reichhaltig - besonders die Brötchen) ausgeht, würde die Bewertung deutlich besser ausfallen. Leider haben wir aber ein „altes“ Zimmer erwischt, in dem ein Bett stand, dass dermaßen gequietscht hat, dass man bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung hellwach war. Da hat der schöne Ausblick vom Balkon leider auch nicht entschädigt. Insgesamt muss man sagen, dass das Hotel einen zusammengewürfelten Zustand aus allen bisherigen Renovierungsphasen hat und nirgendwo „fertig“ aussieht.

The hotel is not in the main town of Santa Christina. It is thankfully just off the main Val Gardena road, which is so busy you almost want to call it a highway. Matt was very nice and informative and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant food is very good. The rooms are TINY! And only one pillow per person and they are so tiny . Also the bath towels feel threadbare! We were in a so-called triple room, but it's actually a TINY double room with a third bed shoved in. Considering the fact that you ski there, there is one TINY cupboard for 3 occupants with winter clothing! The bathroom has a tiny glass ledge for three people to share! Also, there is no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as there is no space. Our room had no view. We looked into a wall. Wifi was not great. You have to pay E5 to wash your laundry and another E5 to use the tumble drier. To get to the laundry room, you have to walk outside in the snow! Then walk through the smelly ski boot room!

There are nice parts to the hotel such as the spa and pool (although they are small and get very congested) and reception area. However, the room was very poor considering the price. Dated and old fashioned also the bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable - we didn’t get one good nights sleep, something a hotel like this should be able to guarantee (see pics). Honesty, I’ve stayed in refugios with more comfortable rooms. Staff - some lovely - bar and waiting staff and the cleaner who was a beam of joy every morning. The front of desk staff were despondent and verging on rude. Location good - 5 to 10 min walk to lifts. Breakfast good. All in all disappointing given what the hotel is selling itself as and the prices being charged. Place does have potential but feels like it needs better management focused on getting the basics right before worrying about a fancy reception area.

We stayed for 5 nights in the X-Alp hotel during our summer holiday/honeymoon. Everything was perfect! The staff helped us to plan our daily activities and they're extremely friendly and helpful both in the reception and in the restaurant. The spa section was tastefully decorated and a perfect ending for an active day on the mountains. The breakfast wasn't so versatile, but you find every morning something to fill up your plate. The best thing in the breakfast was the cake table with several different tasty pleasures. Kiitos, kaikki oli erinomaista! :)

Excellent value hotel and a great location for exploring the Italian Alps. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was clean, cozy and incredibly warm, which was appreciated given the -9 degrees outside. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast included in the price had a great variety of hot and cold food, good coffee, pastries, cakes and fresh fruit. Would gladly come back again.

Das Hotel ist ein sehr spezielles und einzigartiges Boutique-Hotel, das Sie aufhalten können. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, da ich mit dem Zug reiste und es ist nahe dem Bahnhof und es ist auch nahe dem Hauptplatz mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants umgeben. Das beeindruckendste Merkmal des Hotels ist der schöne Garten, der ein Glashaus, Restaurant, Bar, Pool, Kunst usw. enthält. Es war auch in der Lage, ein Hotel-Bikes zu bekommen und besuchte in der Nähe ein interessantes Schloss. Das Zimmer ist groß, komfortabel, sauber, mit ausgezeichneter Aussicht auf die lokalen Berge in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war auch fabulös. Haben keine Beschwerden, sondern nur Komplimente für das Personal, Service und Einrichtungen. Ich genossen wirklich meinen Aufenthalt und würde es wieder tun!

Ich war am Wochenende der Unbefleckten Empfängnis im Gasser. Die Struktur ist schön, auch wenn das Zimmer, insbesondere das Badezimmer, etwas alt war. Die sehr günstige Lage, direkt neben dem Zentrum; Auch die Schlafqualität war gut, es herrschte viel Stille. Die wunden Punkte waren: Sauberkeit des Zimmers, viel Staub auf dem Schrank unter dem Fernseher; Der Abfluss in der Dusche war langsam, aber als ich darauf hinwies, wurde das Problem sofort behoben. Stören Sie den Herrn an der Rezeption am besten nicht, denn wenn er mit Ihnen spricht, scheint er Ihnen einen großen Gefallen zu tun, auch wenn das Lächeln für diejenigen, die sich mit der Rezeption von Touristen befassen, die Grundlage des Berufs ist. Was mich jedoch am meisten störte, war das Frühstück am zweiten Tag, um acht Uhr morgens gab es in der Dessertabteilung nur ein Tablett mit Croissants und das wars. Ich machte den Kellner darauf aufmerksam und er antwortete genervt: „Ma'am, es ist alles da!!!!“ Und es stimmte, es gab alles für diejenigen, die morgens frühstücken, mit Wurst, Eiern, Speck und Käse, schon gar nicht für mich, der ich morgens den Nachtisch liebe!!!!

Nach dem vierten oder fünften Mal im „Grünen Baum“ kann ich mich nur der Bewertung anschließen, dass die Qualität abnimmt, während die Preise steigen. Es sind „kleine“ Dinge, die sich aber summieren. Über die Sauberkeit und auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals sowie die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen und Getränke kann man nicht meckern. Jedoch wirkt es so, als wären gerade die Frühstückskellner mit der hohen Frequenz an Gästen überlastet. Auch dass das offiziell bis 10 Uhr angebotene Frühstücksbuffet nach 9.15/30 Uhr nicht mehr nachgefüllt wird, keine Handtücher im Wellnessbereich ausliegen (wo zudem überhaupt nicht auf die Einhaltung der (Hygiene-)Regeln geachtet wird) und nach dem Aufräumen die Fenster den ganzen Tag sperrangelweit offen gelassen werden, entspricht leider nicht einem Preis von fast 200€/Nacht. Wie gesagt, Kleinigkeiten, die in einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel aber eigentlich nicht auftreten dürfen.

It was literally our favourite hotel of our month long Europe trip,
They’ve thought of every single detail to give you the best trip ever. We had a horrible experience in our last place so decided to leave and move here instead and thank goodness we did.
The staff are incredible, they couldn’t have been nicer and the whole team were very helpful.
There were so many free treats as well and a yummy breakfast and hight tea that we didn’t know about so it was a real bonus..
The pool, sauna and spa area was definitely the highlight for us, so many places to relax, everything was next level clean and modern and perfect after a good hike.
This hotel should be 6 star, we had another booking at a different hotel the day after but didn’t want to leave here so cancelled (even lost our money and didn’t care) but we just had to enjoy another night!
You will not regret booking this hotel! ******

GGastnutzerVorweg möchte ich anmerken, dass ich weiß wo von ich rede, denn ich war schon 34 mal in diesem tollen Hotel um meinen Urlaub zu genießen. Ich finde keine Kritikpunkte. Das Personal und die Hotelleitung sind familiär, freundlich und kompetent. Die Zimmer sind vom Feinsten mit einer Ausstattung der Extraklasse. Die Lage vom Hotel ist einmalig mit einem traumhaften Ausblick auf St. Ulrich im Grödnertal und auf die Dolomiten. Besonders lobenswert ist die Küche. Hier hat man eine große Auswahl von sehr schmackhaften Gerichten. Ich habe für September 2023 und Juni 2024 schon wieder gebucht, weil es nichts schöneres gibt.
