The Ridge

From the warm friendly welcome from Phil and Teneille, to the well-appointed spacious One-Bedroom Ocean View Cottage we enjoyed a very relaxed and wonderful time at The Ridge. The gorgeous views of the serene Cascade Bay area were superb. We enjoyed having lunch platters and wine on the deck, just staring across the hills towards the ocean. And it was an easy drive into town for a good coffee and meal. The cottage was beautifully furnished and the decor elegant, cheerful and modern. The king bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom had all the touches you would see in the best hotels. The shower was always hot and the pressure strong. The free mobile phone proved to be very useful when away from a wi-fi signal. The parking was plentiful and easy to access. The driveway was well signposted. The Starlink Wifi signal was strong at all times. Phil and Teneille were excellent hosts. They were always available to help with a winning smile and a chat. We would love to revisit one day, and will be recommending The Ridge to everyone we know. Steve & Louise

We recently stayed at The Ridge and it was fabulous. We were greeted at the airport by Phil who guided us to our accommodation and from then on the relaxation started. Both Phil and Tenielle are the perfect hosts, providing everything you need for a great stay on Norfolk Island. The unit overlooking the valley to Cascade Bay was very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. It was well equipped if you wanted to do your own cooking and had plenty of space to live comfortably while you are there. It is a short drive to the town centre for anything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you and if we return to NI we will definitely stay at The Ridge again.

It’s the attention to detail that makes a difference. Phil kindly met us at the airport and guided us to our rental car then back to the Ridge. The rooms were clean and attractively furnished, plenty of space for two. Kitchen had everything you need, the eggs and milk in the fridge were greatly appreciated as we cooked breakfast on two days and prepared some evening meals but other times ate out at one of the eateries suggested by Phil and Teneille. Our ocean view cottage was aptly named with fantastic views from the back deck which was also a great place for stargazing at night. It’s worth remembering that the stargazing is good as there is so little light pollution out in the Pacific and equally worth remembering to bring a torch too for moonless nights. We used the phone provided to talk to tour operators which was really handy. Would recommend this property and we hope to return one day.

Teneille and Phil are outstanding hosts, both are warm, friendly and welcoming. Phil met us at the airport and then guided us to The Ridge. We were greeted with beautiful views of the valley below and of Mt Pitt above. Our room was was perfect, the bathroom had lovely Saya products to use for showering. Beach towels and bathrobes provided. Kitchen was well equipped to make your own meals. The bed was the best we have ever slept in. It is also very quiet and great for stargazing from the balcony at night. Thanks for a fabulous 10 night stay, highly recommend and will stay again.

Very attractive apartment tastefully decorated and well equipped. The views from the balcony were just amazing. Very comfy bed and good shower. Teneille met us at the airport to show us the way to The Ridge and left us with a mobile so we could ring local companies which saved us having to buy a sim card for our phone. Really enjoyed our stay. Norfolk Island is just beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying at The Ridge.

The accomodation was excellent. Magnificent views. Beds and linen to die for, so soft and comfortable. Tenielle was great to deal with from my first contact , very helpful. Thanks to Phil for meeting us at airport. I would highly recommend staying at the Ridge Well done Phil and Teneille
