We love this boutique hotel with an amazing staff. The staff throughout the whole hotel is super friendly. The rooms are great! Every afternoon after touring, we would end up at the rooftop pool to cool off. The views are incredible! The location is perfect. Our first room had a little issue and the staff was quick to move us to another room. So nice! The family had three rooms. We were in the second floor (pictures) and my brother was on the third floor with a balcony. The breakfast is included and served on a beautiful terrace. You can order off a menu or have a variety of choices from the breakfast bar. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Strike one - the barman offered me flat sparkling wine... only relenting to opening a fresh bottle for me (after I complained twice). The food was actually outstanding as well as the cocktails. The staff were amazing, even checked to make sure I was ok. Made no misunderstandings about policies. However the noise situation is almost intolerable, you can hear EVERYTHING happening outside the room.

This was a 5 star hotel. Great rooms and great location. It was away from all the nightclubs and bars but close enough where i could walk to them. The service was great. Everybody was top notch. The garden terrace breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend.

I can't recommend this hotel. Not 5 star. Even most expensive rooms are small. We booked 6 nights directly with them and left after 3. They wouldn't refund anything. The breakfast is on the roof where birds are on the tables and buffet. It may be too sunny if you can't find a table in the shade or too wet when it rains. Some friendly staff but mostly poor service even by Latino standards.

Everything was excellent, the facilities, Rooms so clean and comfortable, the rooftop view was great,, people was amazing. We ask for a late check out and they didn’t have problem, they are always attentive to the guest needs and requests. I will go back!

Fantastic location - walkable to the walled city and also Getsemani. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The rooftop pool is great, and the service at the rooftop bar was excellent. The room was a little small and didn't have much wardrobe space as it is taken up by a fridge and snack tray.

TLDR: Stay here. Great location and a very friendly staff! Verdict: We would stay here again, which is always our number one barometer of a hotel. Location: I thought this location was perfect. It is on the edge of Getsemaní looking out to the bay. There is an incredible restaurant, right next-door, and others just behind the hotel. We were a 5 to 10 minute walk to the dock for the boats to the islands. The room: Our room was a little tight, but not uncomfortable, and certainly not the smallest that we have stayed in. The infinity pool on the roof is a nice touch at the end of a trek around the city or coming back from the islands. The staff: The staff was very friendly. They were always warm and welcoming. They were very helpful checking in on how your trips were going. Cons: If there is one flaw that I felt it was the lack of lounge chairs by the pool. There are only about seven lounge chairs along the pool. so if you want to lay out, you have to wait your turn. There’s plenty of other seating and they could probably just add another row of lounge chairs behind the first one. Our room was always very well cleaned, but we often came home to find weird arrangements of the towels. Sometimes we didn’t have hand towels; we only got a floor mat once. (And you need the floor mat because there’s no screen on the shower. ) Luckily, a short call to the front desk and they were sent up pretty quickly. Tips: El Arsenal The Rum Box, the restaurant next-door, was one of the top two meals we had all trip. Our room had a cement wall facing the window. But I glanced into one of the rooms at the back of the hotel, and those rooms had proper windows that looked out to the street behind. So maybe ask about that. Personally, I did not love the breakfast at the hotel (it’s quite serviceable before a trip out and my husband was fine with it…) but there is also a Juan Valdez café and the Inspiración café cross the street. We went to Inspiración for cappuccinos and croissants twice. They were beautiful. Final tip, if you book a trip to the islands, check a wave tracker online. Everybody warned us about the trip coming back from the island but we had a particularly wavy day and it was a pretty brutal ride both ways. (Like people were scared to get back on the boat brutal.) Then someone showed us how to check wave guru online so we planned our second trip for less tumultuous day.

Really nice little hotel with excellent breakfast and a lovely rooftop pool with bar and food service. The rooom and bed was nice. Perfect location, easy walk to the center of the old town. The staff was also very welcoming and nice. Easy walk to harbor.
