I initially read all the reviews after booking this holiday and was concerned that we were going to be eating at various restaurants because the food is reputabley so awful. I have to say, there is always something to eat and Ifound it quite amusing watching what other holiday makers would put on their plates as a side dish; one person had mashed potatoe with pasta in a marinara sauce , my husband included. An example of the food on offer on one evening: grilled pork ribs, roasted chicken with green beans, potato wedges, croquet potatoes, sprouts, and pasta with Mediterranean roasted vegetables in a marinara sauce and on the salad bar: Lettuce, olives, Pickles, beetroot, Peppers, tomato and tuna. On the side there are always bread rolls and a soup of the day. Now for the desserts: two different flavours of homemade icecream flavours of the day, cold rice pudding, a flavoured jelly of the day, a roulade, a cake of the day, plus others. The food through the hour and a half is plentiful, nothing ever runs out as they are forever adding more and they positivity encourage you to go back for seconds. If you are looking to experience Spanish food you can either have a wonderful lunch at one of the Spanish restaurants facing the sea view or have an odd evening out for a Spanish meal, either way you will not go hungry. My only gripe are the times of the evening meals which is between 19:00 until 20:30, I don't think I have ever eaten so early whilst on holiday, usually we would have a cocktail first then eat, so we just switched it around, no big deal. The roof terrace is lovely and with a breeze it was very pleasant and usually only one or two other people were there, I was looking forward to the hammocks, but sadly they were no longer there; the indoor swimming pool was lovely and cool especially after an hour on the roof terrace, there were times I saw one or two other people there or generally I was by myself in a private pool, yes the ceiling needs redoing, but not a massive issue, there is no gym equipment and the sauna isn't on, although for a sauna just step outside the hotel. We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and cannot fault it. The staff are exceptionally helpful day or night, they are so friendly and very proud of their hotel and food, as they should be. We will be coming back here, because of the hotel staff treat each guest as if they are family. If you need entertainment, then you are allowed to frequent the shows at he Son Baulo across the road and there is always a tui rep available at the Son Baulo between 10:00 until 16:00 daily. The Ting Ting train is great fun and costs 4. 50 euros each and can take you to C'an Picafort main town. You can use the bus service, but it runs on the main road which is quite a walk or go for an organised day trip with the reps. The bar connected to the hotel is cheap, friendly and a stones throw away, the cocktails are ok. We stayed in room 201 which is lovely and big, the on
