Premier Inn Caernarfon

This was by far a disappointing stay. Having previously stayed in many Premier Inns we had an expectation of the standard and service. The first room we were allocated was not thoroughly cleaned, so we complained and the second room was clean but shabby. An alarm went off at 2.00am and we were not contacted or informed as to what had happened. The staff were not really invested in helping us, when we requested replenishment of the toilet paper, the attitude was dismissive and rude. In summary, the experience we had does not reflect the quality advertised in the TV commercials.

Stayed so many times and generally really happy. This time - a selection: Heating didn’t work.. took an age to get a heater, as no room swap available to hotel being (apparently) full No toilet paper TV reception so poor only 1 channel available Free WiFi just didn’t work Shower pressure weak and shower head broken But THE NOISE! A constant on/off hum that was there all night and still there when we checked out. We didn’t mention at the time as (see above) we knew there were no spare rooms, and when I offered to go and demonstrate it at check out they said it was unnecessary and they would explore. Got the feeling room 201 is an issue… and they know it. The staff were great - not their fault The breakfast was also a bun fight over cold food with a claimed “global shortage of orange juice”. Hilarious Such a shame…

Had a fantastic stay in a family room. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Staff went above and beyond even leaving us a lovely note and pack of cookies for the kids when we returned back too our room in the evening. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was warm and both room and bathroom were spotless. An easy top-up of tea and biscuits supplies at reception. The room was very quiet so sleep was peaceful. Staff were friendly and Chad took pains to successfully locate my lost purse. Thank you so much. Deeply appreciated.

As a regular visitor to Caernarfon we booked the Premier Inn. Prior to arrival we were contacted by the hotel to see if we as a family had any special requirements. On arrival we went to our room to find gifts for the children and a note from management. This was a special touch an we appreciated it very much. Our 10year old then decided he wanted to buy a drink from the vending machine where he was met by a member of staff who gave him another present. All in all we were amazed with the hospitality extended to us from all the staff. Well done team, what an amazing stay we had during the stormy weather.
