Hotel Regio Cádiz

Todo genial, limpio, bien ubicado, personal muy amable, muy comoda la habitación, para repetir

We were greeted by cava (sparkling wine on ice) and chocolates even though we booked only a standard room. Decent hotel a short walk from Playa Victoria beach. I would stay there again. Booking on their website allowed me to choose my welcome gift and also select my actual room. Also included was a free walking tour of old town with a guide. We had a double room with two single beds. The room was small, but they did a great job efficiently using the space, fitting in a fridge and suitcase rack by the door. No iron in the room, but they brought one upon request. The bathroom was well lit and had a window. The hot water came on quickly. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, but totally fine for a couple nights. The balcony was more like a little sunroom because it was enclosed, and it was big enough for two people to eat comfortably. The large windows on the balcony provided great views on Avenida Ana de Viya and opened up for a great breeze. We were able to dry our swimsuits there. We did not notice any street noise with the door to the balcony closed. The blonde lady working the front desk was super nice and helpful. The housekeeping lady did a great job too. The city bus takes only cash but makes change. The bus stop was super convenient within 100 meters of the hotel. At the time of this writing, the fare was EUR1.10 per person to get to old town Cadiz. Once there, everything is very walkable.

Very good value for the money Excellent room: large, modern, clean, with the quietest ac ever. Only minus is that the window on the street isn't double paned, so you get some street noise. Rock solid wifi, very good and helpful staff would give 4.75 stars if TripAdvisor let me

We were in Cadiz due to a medical emergency. The staff and accommodations were so kind and helpful. A special shout out goes to Alejandro. His professionalism and compassion was much appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was a very close walk to the hospital and was in the center of many restaurants and shopping.

The Regio is a clean, well located budget hotel, with excellent access to the old town & within 5 minutes walk of the beach. We stayed for 3 nights & our top floor room with balcony was suitable for our needs. The breakfast was plentiful & catered for all tastes. Access to the old town was easily accomplished via the regular bus service that ran past the hotel. Car parking was available at an extra cost at a nearby garage.

The front desk staff made this stay a favorite for us. Attentive and helpful, they took the time to make recommendations, give directions and even help us find the lab where we could get our Covid test to return to the USA. Free gift for booking directly was nice. VIP treatment and a great location near the beach. Next time we are in Cadiz we will stay again!

A fantastic space in a great location and super-helpful staff. Family room had everything we needed, but could I suppose have been bigger. Did not attempt to negotiate a larger space. Bathroom was very good with a great shower, super-necessary in the middle of summer. Lovely balcony onto side street from third floor. Only once had breakfast there, and was excellent. More importantly, the coffee shop next door was very good indeed, for cake and yes, coffee. Location in middle of high street gave us beaches left and right and a few minutes walk away only. A great many cafes, restaurants and tapas providers in close proximity. Turning left out of the hotel takes you within two minutes to a fantastic ice-cream parlour.
