The Ridge at Playa Grande

We had a wonderful time at The Ridge. Always impeccable service. The restaurant and pool staff are top notch. Benito, Uriel, Cirello and Jose always made our breakfast experience a pleasure. With their good morning smiles and greetings. We even were taught how to order our breakfast in Spanish from Benito. (Some days were better than others. lol. ) Breakfast was always tasty and the presentation was a nice touch. We spent most of the days with Ofelia around the pool and after the first day she really got into a great rhythm with us. Our glasses were never empty. She knew what we liked to drink and when to bring them. The views are beautiful from the Ridge. At the quiet infinity pool(adult only) you are able to enjoy the ocean views. From the larger infinity pool and kiddie pool you can enjoy the Marina and Medano beach. There were only a few issues that we had. •Building D seems to have an AC problem in July. They were kind enough to move us to a different building with basically our same view. •The selections of restaurants for the All Inclusive is dwindling. They sold Puerto San Lucas and did not replace it. They used to have the Ridge restaurant opened at night a few days a week for dinner and they no longer offer that. •They use to have a private entrance and exit for Ridge guest to get to the street easy without going through the hotel and they did away with that. Our suggestion for The Ridge and Playa Grande is to have live music nightly and a fire pit. There is really nothing to do at night after dinner so most people go off property or to their rooms.

We love staying at the Ridge at Playa Grande!! We consider it our home away from home. The place is vey clean and immaculate, the staff is friendly and always goes out of their way to make sure we have what we need. The food is delicious with a variety to pick from. The Mexican Fiesta and Beach party out a must see. The resort is within walking distance from the marina. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip!!

10/10 staff rating. Uriel, Raciel, Carlos & Benito were incredible at the Ridge Pool. Franco, Hector, and Alberto took great care of us at the main pool. Ana made us great coffee at the sports bar. The staff is so helpful and sweet, they will tend to your every need. They are also a lot of fun, will have conversations with you, and make recommendations. We truly felt like the staff became our friends while we were here. The rooms are immaculate, the infinity ridge pool has amazing views, and there is plenty to do at the main pool by the beach. Pro tip: buy the all inclusive. The food is very good, and you can order right at the bar or pool and not have to worry about paying expensive prices in Cabo.

Uriel at the Playa Grande Ridge pool bar is awesome. Super personable and great service. Pick his section, he is that good. Check out the multiple golden hour, buy one get one on cocktails. Amazing views of both the marina and s the pacific. Check it out.

The staff at The Ridge were very attentive to our every need. Every part of the resort was impeccable as far as cleanliness. They were even repainting daily to keep the grounds looking ever so fresh ! They go over and beyond and I would highly recommend a stay at playa Grande

The scenery is beautiful & amazing. But the servers by the pool are awesome. They go out of their way to help in any way how. Especially, Uriel. He was kind and attentive to our entire party. He really helped to make our vacation amazing and memorable.

I had an awful experience with the reservation team and management at The Ridge at Playa Grande. From the start, the reservation process was a mess. They were rude, unprofessional, and extremely unhelpful when I tried to resolve the issue. It felt like they couldn’t care less about their guests. To make matters worse, the manager was even more disrespectful and dishonest. Instead of resolving the problem, they tried to shift the blame and refused to take responsibility for the mistakes. The lack of accountability and professionalism was shocking. This level of dishonesty and rudeness is unacceptable for a resort that claims to be high-end. I wouldn't recommend The Ridge at Playa Grande to anyone. If you're expecting good service or honesty, you'll be sorely disappointed here.

We've had the worst time trying to get any responses from this resort to finalize our reservations. It's been weeks of back and forth and being promised we'll hear back and we haven't. We've called, emailed, and even reached out on their social media. It's simply terrible that there's no follow through and it's so hard to get a reservation booked! Why is it so hard to give them money?! Very disappointed sadly.

Had a great time here! Food and drinks were perfect! Ofelia, Uriel and Daniel took great care of us. Very attentive to what we needed and what we didn’t! First class service! Joseph in the sports bar was awesome, along with multiple other staff who’s name we never got… We will be back!
