Wish I could give 3.5. This motel was an odd mix of good room and facilities, convenient location, and contemptuous customer “service.” Every single staff member I encountered acted as if I was a burden to them, even just to say good morning and ask about breakfast. Here’s an example: when I arrived, a young-ish bearded man was seated behind the desk, engrossed in his computer screen. He didn’t look up or acknowledge my presence, just kept clicking away at whatever was on the computer. (And at 6’3” and 200#, I’m pretty hard to miss.) Eventually another staff member tried to hurry by and he barked “[Name]! Check in!” She rolled her eyes, sat at the other desk and looked at me. As we went through the process, she sighed heavily several times, letting me know what an annoyance I was. Eventually I got a key and went to my room. Mr. Personality with the beard never looked at me once.
