Premier Inn Bude ★★★

"The Premier Inn is in an absolutely prime location in the middle of a beautiful Cornish town with everything within arm's reach. Value for money is good, and it does exactly what it sets out to do for a holiday. There are a few setbacks which stand out in general: the rooms are very small, the family room being extremely minimalist; the shower wasn't really functional due to the showerhead being very leaky and spraying everywhere; the wi-fi is also useless, although you can buy a faster version. However, if you plan to spend no time in the room at all beyond sleeping it's exactly what you need (and this is what the Premier Inn is for ultimately). This all being said, the breakfasts are excellent value. The hotel was clean, it's efficient, organised with comfortable beds and essentially everything you want. We also had a room with a great street-facing view down the sea river although this won't be the case for everyone. The best quality of this hotel is the staff. They were polite and professional with a great attitude. Of particular note were Jazz (running the show) and the chef, Tony. They all seem to get on and this translates to great customer service with a sense of humor. It was great to see, and they were a credit to the hotel. I would happily stay there again. It's a solid four-star place to stay in a wonderful part of England. Nowhere is perfect, but this place does it's job very well and exceeded expectations in all the important areas at a good price. You won't be disappointed."

"Das ist unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Sunrise und wir planen unser dritter auf dem Weg nach Hause. Schöne freundliche Gastgeber in einem Haus von zu Hause. Große Frühstücksauswahl, sehr komfortabele Betten und ruhige Zimmer. Parkplatz ist einfach und bequem und bei £10 für 24 Stunden sehr vernünftig für eine Seaside-Location. Wir können nicht warten, um zurückzukehren. Hoch empfohlen ."

"Lage SUPER. Leider sind wir in einem der ältesten Cottages gelandet. Extrem wenig Platz, Betten sind 1,40 m Klappbetten von Ikea (für 2 Erwachsene!), im Bad absolut kein Platz für Handtücher und Waschtaschen. Kinderbetten nur für sehr kleine Kinder geeignet, 70 cm breit! Und alle Betten zu kurz. Gardinen alle kaputt und zerrissen. Alter Teppich mit Flecken. Kein Platz für Schuhe und Jacken. Kein Platz für Koffer und Taschen. Keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Geschirrspüler, kein Wäscheständer für nasse Sachen. Keine Möbel auf der Terrasse. Bei Regen und Sturm sehr gruselig, es wackelt alles und klopft extrem auf das billige Blechdach. Dafür 750 Pfund für 4 Nächte viel zu teuer. Drei Punke sind positiv: Die Lage, die Ruhe und die netten Damen an der Rezeption. Bungalow negativ, schrecklich. "

"I cannot leave a good review, this camping site is basic, nice palm trees but that’s about it. If you like the vibe of hen parties and stag parties with people loud and fires and football games then this is for you! The facilities are basic, no one on site to help, just mobile numbers left on the reception door which no one answers. The showers were cold and basic, only two taps for water, expensive for a camp trip. The owner did not communicate until a month after my stay. People were leaving because it was so bad! I cannot recommend as my holiday was ruined and cut short. Asked for some of my money back and offered just 15% off my next booking! Then silence …. Just like they do not answer their mobiles. The campsite is on a slope grass needed cutting so Maintenance was poor. I cannot give anymore than 1 Star! Not very large pitches and cars parked across others pitches if they had a caravan and awning. Great location for bude but that’s about it."
