TownePlace Suites Tulsa Broken Arrow

We have stayed at Townplace Suites multiple times for business. The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the customer service has been welcome in a time when that seems to be lost. I would suggest this property to anyone making a stop in Broken Arrow OK. Gary

We had to attend two family funerals on the same day, 200 miles away. We arrived tired at 10:30 pm for a 2-day stay, At the front desk, Vanessa and Elizabeth greeted us like family, and quickly checked us into our studio room with the king bed. They brought us the extra towels we always need. After the funerals, Vanessa volunteered to bring our extra towels to our room, which was so kind. The next morning, we were still exhausted. We asked for a late checkout and Vanessa, Bless Her Heart, was able to do it. I also commend Christina, Head of the Housekeeping Service. She and her crew always provide an immaculate room with everything in its place. The entire hotel is spotless. The breakfast was the Oklahoma Favorite, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage and many other choices. Enjoy!

Several issues that I discussed with Management and Customer Service that were not addressed. Housekeeping coming into our room with do not disturb sign up, very excessive noise and disruptive people around us, etc. Will not stay here or recommend to others. Disappointed in this Marriott property.

The studio rooms are too small for families. We asked for a bigger room, but was told the hotel is fully booked. Many negatives leading our decision to not stay the one night we were already charged for. First, there was a strong odor when we first stepped into the room. Not sure where the stench came from, but it was nauseating right by the door (inside the room). Sofa/pull-out bed mattress was very filmy and when pulled out, it touches the king bed so one would have to crawl across the king or sofa bed to get out of one side of the king bed. The room we were given was right by the pool so we could hear all the noises. No way anyone could have a good night rest under these circumstances. Our last straw was seeing a long curly hair in one of the bathroom hand towels. I have seen great reviews about their breakfast, too bad we didn't even want to stay the night to know what's available. We left 10 mins after checking in, front desk did not offer us another room and still charged us in full the next day.

Very small but clean and bed was comfortable. so was the sofa bed. The breakfast was one of the better for this type of place - a egg white and spinach omelet was offered along with well cooked sausage links. The waffle maker was always clean and the attendant was very helpful! The bath vanity is VERY small, could hold my hubby Dopp kit and my hair curler. Had to use the back of the toilet and drawers for other things. Did find the 2 trash cans inside cabinet doors. No ice container.

Nice stay while attending a conference nearby. The suites are large and definitely better for longer stays, but worked well for a one night solo stay. There was an issue with one of the TVs' audio, but I just slept in the other bedroom of the suite. Staff was very helpful. The hot breakfast was great.

This hotel has it all, wonderful staff, great accommodations and in a fantastic area, can walk to some restaurants and shopping. the complimentary breakfast is great and switches everyday which is great for someone staying longtime. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Would definitely recommend!

Quite a few things wrong with the stay, but I will only list the top ones. First, we were traveling with our dog and are used to paying pet fees but this hotel doesn’t list the amount on the Marriott site when you book, but when you check in they hit you with a $75 pet fee! That’s more than we have paid at autograph hotels in the Marriott collection. Second, the hotel is very dated, and after we found potato chips on the floor of our room, we wondered about the cleanliness. Third, the mattresses are like sleeping on a kitchen sponge. It has absolutely no support. All in all, for the money, there are better choices in the area, so I would drive on by.

Con’s 1. We booked 2 rooms and the AC didn’t function properly in either. The wall mount controllers weren’t functional and the window unit Auto settings didn’t work. The fans ran continuously our entire stay even when the compressor was off. I notified the staff and they had maintenance look at it but weren’t able to repair it. To their credit, they did offer us a different room but we were unpacked and declined the offer. 2. The rooms were not very clean. My grandsons left cracker crumbs all over the floor in their room. I notified the staff after 2 days and they vacuumed around the dining table but didn’t vacuum under the table or chairs. 3. Guests were putting food trash and trash bags in the halls. I notified the staff after food was in the hall for more than 24 hours. The staff quickly removed the trash. 4. The washer and dryer weren’t functioning during our visit and the staff didn’t know when it would be repaired. They had a work order in for the repair but no estimate on when it would be fixed. 5. The patio and fire pit area was very nice but we weren’t able to enjoy it with the kids due to cigarette smoke. Each table had ashtrays and people were smoking around the fire pit each evening. 6. Some of the furniture was really worn out and is in need of replacement. The bed was’t very comfortable and had poor support. Pro’s 1. Friendly staff. 2. Nice complimentary breakfast and friendly attendants 3. Excellent location- near lots of restaurants and easy access to expressways. Overall Poor stay. I expected more from a Marriott property and I won’t be staying at this property again.
