Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Bridgeport

Stayed for a weekend and this is one of the best places we've been to in a very long time. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The grounds were immaculate and the building neat and clean. Our room was a king and it was very spacious. The only ding I would give the room is a small TV and the hot water was slightly more than warm. The price was super inexpensive. They don't have breakfast but a comparative place that does serve breakfast would have been $40 more. And there's plenty of options s for breakfast close by. I rate this a 9 out of 10.

I booked for just myself for 5 nights 4th of July weekend, 2022 with plans to visit family and upon arrival, the owners rudely said they didn’t have a reservation. These owners need to take a course in how they speak with their guests. I showed them my computer print out with confirmation number on it and they again rudely said it was CANCELLED! Instead of saying I’m sorry, we don’t seem to have that reservation but we’d gladly have you stay with us with the quoted AAA rate. I then showed them my email confirmation I had received the Saturday before my Thursday, June 30 check in. They did honor it. After 3 nights and evidence of blood on my bottom sheet and blood on my back after drying myself after showering, I informed them I was checking out. They naturally asked why and I showed them pictures I took of my bed sheet and towel with blood on them. They did refund me my remaining 2 nights. Oh lord This hotel’s one saving grace is hotel clerk Stephanie!! She’s always greets with a smile, asks how I am, friendly, attentive in helping this guest when I had a question or needed something. I stayed at the LaQuinta Inn across the street my last 2 nights and it was wonderful!

I've stayed here perhaps a dozen times over the last year. The first stay i had a concern, and the owners addressed it immediately and corrected it. The owners are very attentive to my requests and questions, and are very friendly people to boot. The hotel itself is always spotless and quiet. If you're looking for a comfortable, restful nights sleep, this is a top choice in the area.
