It’s absolutely insulting how much this place charges and it is in no way a resort so the fact that they charge you fees to stay here when there’s no restaurant or any other amenities is ridiculous. Our family got a room that the air conditioning didn’t work and they put in one of those window units that are really loud and just don’t cool in this heat. Finally after pleading for a better room waiting hours for maintenance they moved my family, no discount or concession! We had to move in the rain. Not fun! We had no proof, but one of our gift items went missing after cleaning. But cleaning was subpar with a dirty coffee cup upon checkin so that led me to believe that nothing was really cleaned in the room. The decor is nice but there’s so much rust and dirt everywhere else that indeed it’s just lipstick on a pig. When they cleaned the room, they didn’t make the bed-ridiculous for what we paid. No accessibility to walk to the beach from your room or pool, you have to walk around on street side. Pool is very small and was locked in the morning so we just checked out and left. You can tell they genuinely don’t care about your concerns. Very insulting that they want you to sign a disclaimer that you will not dispute charges before you even get there that told me something.

Mediocre product, hight price worst service. The pictures looked amazing but when we got there we had to change apartments twice because leakage, finally we stayed in only one with no raining inside. An horrible feeling of being fooled when you pay $750 / night but they don’t spend a dime in new kitchen utensils or basic like a toilet seat that is not chipped. They could use some of the money they happily charge you in a decent sofa you can sit or renew furniture with stains. Outside furniture is also dangerous for kids, rusty and dirty. They keep texting you to check how is your stay but after replying with pictures all things that are wrong they don’t text you back. I am attaching pictures. We asked for beach chairs as we had only one to share with 3 other departments, I even told them I would be happy to help myself taking it to the beach. The rude receptionist told me they cannot let me take and someone will bring it to me, 3 days later I was still waiting. Pretentious service. It makes sense that in their terms and conditions they make you sign that you will not dispute with your credit card company and that any claims have to be with them and during the stay. Makes sense because if you have an issue and you let them know they ignore you.

We booked this trip through Amex Platinum, the first night we had no hot water. I notified the office the next day. They sent a maintenance man over and he didn’t know how to fix the problem so my husband told him what to do which was removing the knob and adjusting the temperature. The maintenance person was there for a very long time, after which whenever you used the shower, the floor would flood. We also informed that the internet for the TV wasn’t working, he worked on that and we still had issues with watching TV. Our room was next to a baby gate for the pool, so every person that came into the pool area the door would slam, this would go on all hours of the day and night. They gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper to last 4 nights and when we ask for more, they would only give us a roll at a time. We had to leave a day early as my husband was having a medical issue with his blood pressure. I spoke with the manager, and she offered a credit to be used within one year and the credit amount was $260.00 something which was an insult. I told her I had no reason to ever come back to this dump. When we got home, I reported it to Amex and found out the enormous rate we paid, 1st night $577.02, 2nd night $518.02 and 3rd night $329.22. Amex didn’t make this clear when I was booking online which I am taking up with them.

A week prior to our group's business check in, the manager was emailed confirming payment details. This was acknowledged happily. Upon check-in it was a different story for our party who has traveledsince 4am. Nothing had been prepared, payment details were lost, one room wasn't ready, our party was refused checkin until one person had to pay $4,500 up front. It's totally the opposite of what had been arranged and contracted. A week later we are still chasing the remainder of our money. The run-around from the staff has been akin to Fawlty Towers, laughable. To correct their error meant stepping outside of company protocol, and I can only guess that would alert others higher up. Now our bank is contacting them to return the money. It was such a shame because aside from this debacle it was a nice place. So my tip: if you're on a business trip, be sure to check and double-check with them that they have their ducks in a row re linking their approved credit cards to their Compass account. A monumentally poor experience.

I called and confirmed the room we wanted to stay because my brother got married there 6 years ago and we knew what unit we wanted. They confirmed 2x and once again with my husband. We stayed her over news years and spent $1850 on two nights. The place we got was an old property that was recently purchased and not the unit we requested. The room was disgusting and misrepresented in the picture. The address provided on the reservation was wrong and they did nothing to fix it. The room was falling apart as you can see by my pictures. We had to literally use the breaking to turn some lights on an off when maintenance could not fix the lights. All the lights in the front room were not working. Everything was falling apart, stained, rotting, or destroyed. We went to three other hotels in the area who had lower prices and a higher quality. When we complained they did nothing! I have stayed in a 5 star resort in Hawaii for a better rate than this. They are doing a bait and switch on customer so please beware! They try to upsell none refurbished property by using pictures of other properties they own to lure in and screw you without any remorse. As a business owner myself, I am appalled by this behavior. Take some pride and ownership in what you are selling! I still feel gross for having stay there. We sent the manager a message and he ignored it.

At a very inopportune time Called to ask why was told they bill immediately and don’t follow ******* rules and refused to speak with me because I booked via ******* Still waiting for a credit to may account Save yourself the 6 hours on the phone trying to get your money back and try elsewhere Nicole you are a hateful lady and your other reviews confirm that staff is ———— And ******* you can do better than to let this place violate your rules while your customers are misled and out of pocket money that was never to be charged until check in months later

It was pure pleasure to stay at Anna Maria Island Inn last week. It was our first time in the Island and we were impressed with the tranquility and great vibes of the whole island. Our accommodation was the Anna Maria Island Inn "Tropic Isle" (pool view), across the street from the ocean side. Upon arrival the room was ready and it was super clean and fresh. The kitchenette had enough cooking equipment, the refrigerator was clean. There were sufficient bath and beach towels and beach to last us the whole 5 days. The ambiance was awesome and tranquil at night. The office personnel was available for questions, the maids were also available and asked us if we needed anything. It was really a pleasurable stay. Thank you guys for making this 5 days a memorable experience. I give you a 10 stars for rating. We will see you in September again.

Anna Maria Island is our happy place. We visit AMI at least once a year. All of the stress and craziness melt away when we get to AMI. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It’s like Senior Spring Break. It’s fun but not wild and crazy. Just knowing we are going to AMI again in a few months helps us make it through until we go again.

We were welcomed like we their best friends that came for a visit! Jenny went out of her way to ensure we were satisfied and Anthony did the same. They couldn't do enough for us and we were just walk ins! Kudos to Nicole also on the evening shift for killing us with kindness! We will definitely be back!!!
