Travelodge by Wyndham Bracebridge

Completely unhappy with the breakfast option, while booking the room it said "Continental Breakfast Included" but to our surprise we realized the next morning that all they had was an apple, water bottle, yogurt cup and a juice, all packed in a bag. that's it. They should have been clear about this on the website rather than providing inaccurate description to lure guests to book rooms. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for an all inclusive price.

So disappointed. Would never have booked if we knew it was a construction site. Booked the " superior room" for our family of five. Listed as two queen beds + pull out double with a sundeck. Got two doubles and a queen with construction garbage around the "sundeck"

Travelodge was ok. Bed was uncomfortable for me, but the room was clean and big. The desk agent was very nice and was willing to help. Sundeck was peeling and plastic table and chairs were badly weathered and unusable. no privacy separation from the next sundeck. I found the price very expensive for what we got. No breakfast but a bag with yogurt, water and granola bar, and an apple, so they did try to get you something. Place was under construction and signage was poor upon arriving.

The room was clean enough. The room was very loud sounded like the heating system was banging and clunking on and off all night. The bed were comfortable and size of room was great. There was a cute deck area off of this room. But , when checking out, the staff member he looked to be maybe a manager or owner . He was hovering around as we loaded our car. He asked about leaving a tip for his cleaning staff. I'm not comfortable being asked to tip and think it's is very rude and poor taste. The others from my party was also asked about a tip and also not happy and put on the spot first thing in the morning.

Disappointed, when booking I was convinced to spend extra $ on a room with 2 queen and a pull out due to a family of 5, 2 small children and 3 adults. Two adults slept in a bed with child between. Pull out did not get used. This really is not the hotel’s fault. Anyways the hotel had lots of flies in the room, of course no cleaning due to staff and pandemic (not advised, we figured out on our next hotel stop). We had takeout garbage that sat for a night and day, we had gone to Santas Village did not get back till late. That made things worse. Why would they not at least check rooms for garbage. I think this is why so many flies. Only positive was the pool very child friendly.

Took my grandchildren to Santa Village and choose to stay because of outdoor pool. Manager was very nice and made the grandchildren feel special.Found it pricey for only one night stay and there was no kids programs on TV.

Room smelt terrible, washroom was not very clean and minimum pillows and towels. Property grounds looked just about abandoned and needs severe maintenance. Not worth the price of this hotel to stay somewhere close to Santa’s Village. Will stay in Gravenhurst next time to sleep at a real hotel and drive the extra 10 minutes.

Lovely stay here. This was my first time traveling solo with a 3, 6 and 10yr old, it was also their first time at a hotel. Staff was amazing and very friendly, and made it a great and memorable first time for the kids I loved being able to back up the van to the room to unload. Mini fridge and microwave were awesome to have. Ate out on the small deck. My kids loved the heated pool I saw one review said you have to pay an extra $5, I think they got confused. It was a $5 deposit for pool towels, we had our own and just went from the sliding door from our room, no issues. In the morning picked up a breakfast bag, apple, yogurt, juice box, water, granola bar, was perfect for what we needed. Only thing I would have liked is more kids channels on the TV, or DVD player/Netflix. All kids channels i tried,minus the family channel, didn't work as they weren't subscribed to, so could be hard to entertain kids Room was clean, and big enough for the 4 of us. We'd stay here again

This place is gross. The carpets were disgusting. Our feet were BLACK from just walking on the carpet barefoot. Super musty and damp, broken fixtures and broken patio door leading to uninviting deck area. Would not return. The only good thing is the proximity to downtown. We did not even bother picking up our breakfast because there's no way I would trust the cleanliness of their hands based on the way these rooms looked. And the price is crazy for what it is. At the rates they charge there is no reason they can't put some money back into fixing this place up.
