The reason I chose to stay here was because of all the great reviews, and it lives up to the hype. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The service was great and the freshly made breakfast was delicious. There is a hot tub on sight that you can book a time for, and it felt wonderful in the crisp evening air. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops.

It was our 1st trip to Maine and we were looking for a place to stay for the night and enjoy the scenery . The Harborage Inn superseded all our expectations . The room had a great beach theme and was nicely remodeled/decorated. It had a towel warmer and warm robes as a nice added touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were amazing. Although all of this was amazing, the gourmet organic breakfast was phenomenal. We sat on our porch and enjoyed lemon poppy pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup. This place was top notch!

This was our second time staying at The Harborage Inn, and once again, it exceeded all expectations! We stayed in our favorite room on the second floor that directly faces the harbor. Since our last stay, the room has been completely renovated and modernized, we loved all the changes they made over the years. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Innkeepers were super friendly and always there to help in any possible way. They gave us excellent recommendations for dining and things to do in town. Breakfast they served was delicious, 3 different options each day and they were happy to switch it up to accommodate my dietary needs (gluten free). We are so happy we chose to come back to the Harborage Inn and we will definitely stay here again.

Brooke and Mark are wonderful hosts! We arrived late and our room was waiting for us with the cozy light up fireplace on and a few lights around the room. Brooke and Mark contacted us that day about our ETA. Waiting for us was a menu for breakfast. We made our choices and left it at the drop off at the front desk. You also choose what time you want to eat. The next morning, Brooke knocked on our door and brought in a lovely breakfast. Pictured below. You can eat it inside or out on the deck. We did not have a private deck. The listing is a bit misleading. It is a mix between a bed and breakfast and a hotel. You can eat outside and meet the other guests or stay in your room. The jacuzzi is outside. You need to book a time with the hosts so they can warm it up for you. You can request robes too! Our room was on the second floor. All stairs are outside so my husband had to carry the suitcase up. The parking was included. We could easily walk to town. We would stay here again.

Harborage Inn was an absolute delight! My wife and I were looking for a quick coastal getaway and this place hit the spot! Our room #5 was spotless, super spacious with a living room plus a bedroom space with a king bed. Very modern and neat. Innkeepers are incredibly welcoming, making you feel at home right from the check in. Breakfast was a treat each morning, ordered in advance as a room service and so many different options each day. Extra points for having an outdoor hot tub and EV chargers for those driving electric. If you are looking for a laid back but well cared for stay right by the water in downtown Boothbay, this place is a no brainer. Can’t recommend enough, we will be back soon!

This was my first time visiting Maine, and I have to say that it couldn't have gone better while staying at the Harborage. My friend and I stayed for four nights. I don't remember our room number, but it wasn't facing the water, and even then we could walk around the porch and get a great view of the harbor. If I had to sum it up, I would say that the Harborage has a super friendly and casual environment, but also a really high quality one. Mark and Brooke were so nice and seemed pretty genuine about everything. Breakfast every morning was simple, but great. I loved how much effort they put into the presentation of the food. The inn was within walking distance of everything in town as well. I would easily stay again should I wish to come back to Maine.

Inn keepers were extremely nice and helpful, ready to help with any needs we had, food was wonderful, and accommodations were perfect. Location to town is extremely convenient and would stay here any time of the year! Best view in Boothbay! Would stay again!

Loud, dirty, non-private I booked this resort because of the good reviews, hot tub, and private balcony - but that is not what I got. I stayed in room 11 for 2 days and the resort was full. First - the state of the room. This room was $400 a night and was dirty. There was black mold in the shower, the carpet was threadbare, the sheets had stains, and worst of all - the waterfront hot tub had brown and green scum ring, I didn’t get in. Second, that ‘private’ balcony is not private at all. It’s just two chairs on the wood staircase and although there is a sign that it’s the private space of room 11, people are out there all the time standing in front of your window on your balcony. Lastly, the wood stairs are a super highway of traffic in the morning, you will not sleep in. Non-stop up and down with suitcases or breakfast, it echoes in the room. The rooms are very small - bed takes up most of room with no side table. Suitcases don’t have a place to open. Breakfast was ok, choices are limited and one morning I couldn’t eat what they brought - it was 3 pieces of asparagus on toast with cheese - is that a breakfast somewhere? Do not recommend

My husband and I just returned from 4 nights at the Harborage Inn. It was our first time in Maine. The inn is located in Boothbay Harbor and is walking distance to everything in the harbor. There were lots of restaurants and several shops so no lack of things to do. The innkeepers were very helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area, best places to eat etc. The breakfast every day was delivered to our room and was delicious. The room we stayed in, room 10, was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was a very relaxing getaway and we highly recommend the Harborage Inn.
