Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati Northeast Blue Ash

Do NOT stay here! - Security - On the first night of our stay, this hotel and 3 other local properties were hit by some criminals who busted windows out of over 60 vehicles (15 of them at this hotel). Since there were NO SECURITY CAMERAS on the property, this was an easy target for the thieves. The hotel should have security cameras outside to help provide a layer of crime prevention instead of several signs that say there are no cameras. According to front desk staff, the back parking lot has some security camera coverage from another building so at least park there until someone decides to do the right thing and add security cameras on property! Other Embassy Suites hotels that I called in Cincinnati and Columbus all said they have cameras on property, but Blue Ash did not. - Leaking Roof - It was raining when we arrived, and there were many buckets placed all around to catch the water. - Manager's Reception - The Manager's Reception in the evening was a big disappointment. Instead of anything hot and delicious, it was a bowl of potato chips, a bowl of corn chips, and a small vegetable tray. At a previous Embassy Suites, we had a wide selection of items including trail mix, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, and other items. We were only allowed 2 drinks and were the only hotel guests attending at that time. It was rather underwhelming for what it is promoted to be. - Staff - The staff on duty was very polite and professional, but they seemed to be fairly unaware of most issues when I brought them up at checkout. - Elevators & Stairs - I was hesitant to use the elevators because most were out of order and I didn’t trust the safety of them (see reviews from other guests with the same recurring issue!), but the stairwell was in deplorable condition. The photos provided show the stairwell by the fitness center on the north side of the building, which is also where you will see photos of bug-filled light fixtures. - Room Issues - The cabinets in the room for the sink, fridge, and microwave were falling apart. See the photos of the now-exposed wood due to excessive moisture exposure. The hotel was nearly empty when we were there, but they placed us in a room next to a crying baby. It was too late to move by the time we realized this, but if there are only a few people in the hotel, they should space guests out more. The pull-out sofa mattress was the worst mattress I have ever seen. There is no way someone could actually sleep on that with barely anything covering up the mattress springs, it was extremely uncomfortable. The couch was long enough that my son just slept on the couch cushions, so don't plan on more than one person sleeping on the couch. Our door wouldn't shut unless we pulled hard on it to close, this could be a safety issues if someone isn't aware that the door didn't shut properly. - No Response from Manager - I left two voicemails for the manager (Jason) but he never returned my calls. I then submitted my complaint

Stayed here for a soccer tournament 9/20-22/2024, have always preferred Embassy Suites due to the large rooms and quality breakfast. This property is extremely outdated, the furniture is dirty, the bathroom fixtures do not drain, and the breakfast food is way below the normal quality of Embassy Suites. Some of our team arrived later in the evening and had to wait hours to get their rooms due to them not being cleaned. Our whole team agreed that we would not stay here again.

The hotel was preparing for an event hosted for the weekend (Playchampagne Neon Cowboy). The hotel was super loud Thursday night preparing for it. The staff did not attempt to quiet the event hosts down. It was very loud and disrespectful for the people staying and trying to sleep. We typically stay here every 3 months and are not likely to return.

I think this is one of the nicest embassy suites I've ever stayed at. It's newly renovated and the rooms feels clean and not terribly used. The lobby is huge and pleasant to relax in, lots of couches and a nice waterfall with bamboo & is very unique and relaxing to sit by. The price at the bar and food at restaurant is reasonably priced. Every staff member I came into contact with showed me hospitality and a friendly attitude. I would absolutely stay here again. I have really enjoyed my stay at this particular embassy suite. I think there is a great atmosphere and vibe. The free cocktails in the evening were endless and made strong. I have nothing to complain about lol. The snacks were also very good. I eventually got hungry and ordered a burger which was very tasty and same with the fries.

Our family stayed at this hotel for the Cincinnati Open. While the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was great (not to mention the 24/7 coffee machine which contained cold brew in both regular and decaf), the wifi didn't work half the time (which we confirmed was a significant problem) and one of the main elevators and the Peloton bike were out of order during our entire 4 night stay. The hotel could use an upgrade as well.

The room was clean and lots of room. The room had two beds, which was a queen, but it seemed like they were only full size. We just had problems with the elevators. Only one was working. Also, I saw numerous buckets in the main lobby collecting water. I stayed here 15 years ago and the hotel was great. This time it seemed a little outdated. The staff was kind and professional. At the evening reception, the bar tender was great and breakfast was excellent. Overall, not bad, except for being outdated and only one elevator.

This hotel has a wonderful breakfast with HOT options (eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles) with cold items such as fruit and cereal. It’s served buffet style and it’s constantly monitored and replenished. Soda, juice, coffee and water offered at breakfast as well. Served longer on weekends (10:30am). Wonderful open space for lobby and glass elevators- plenty of room to hang out with family, friends, or teammates outside of your hotel room in a nice, safe environment. Complimentary drinks at the Manager’s Reception every night 5:30-7pm. The room was large- appreciated the living room space being separate from beds. 2 tvs allowed freedom for my family to watch what they wanted. Nice beds. Wet bar in our room with sink, fridge, and microwave. The carpeting is a little worn, but our room was clean. The hotel has a few areas that are dated- but overall a very nice place to stay. Excellent area that make drives to UC, Xavier, anything downtown very close (15 minutes tops).

I like reviews because they help me make my decision on staying. I read some reviews and chose to stay here and I had a good experience from the check in guys. The manager Lakes was very helpful when I asked for assistance when I needed help on a business matter for work and she helped me with her knowledge and skills. BTW the breakfast omelet cook and table assistance was kind people.

I am a long-time Hilton Honors member. I have stayed across the country at several Hilton properties. The Embassy Suites in Blue Ash, OH does not reflect Hilton in a positive light. The front desk staff is very unprofessional. I was not greeted upon arrival and I ended up doing self-check-in. The hotel was extremely dirty, food was stuck to the wall, the carpet was filthy, both elevator floors had large holes in them, the drains were clogged, and our bed sheets were stained. The walls are paper-thin, I could hear the neighbor's conversations. I was told an item at the pantry was $5 and was then charged $8....... The only saving grace was Ms. Wonda in food service. She was a doll and very hospitable. I would not recommend a stay at this property.
