I had to make same day booking for one night at Bhubaneshwar while traveling, the reservation was smooth with no hassle of asking for credit card details or pre-payment. The breakfast was good. However the room was filthy, not clean, lack basic amenities, room walls and floor was very dirty, linen and towels were not clean, the old expired bed mattress was most uncomfortable. The overall room quality was like a small town buspark lodge or a railway retiring room of a small station. Price wise against the service and quality it is very high. Arriving at the hotel no one was attending, had to pull luggage by myself. No body asked for pre payment at the time of check in but after two hours (while I was out of the hotel) reception staff called and asked me to come immediately to make the payment, next some staff called to reconfirm my booking and asking whether I'm checking in or not, while I have already checked in 2 hrs before. Overall it was not a good impression of a TATA group chain hotel. Some of the temple dharmshalas in India are far better than this hote. Thanks god Respected late Ratan Tata will not be reading this review. A complete case of NO NO, not again.
