Hotel Osumi

Sehr charmanter Empfang durch Anna, die sich im Laufe des Aufenthalts als noch charmanter erwies. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sehr sauber und gut gelegen. Alles ist da. Bis auf das Fehlen einer kleinen Terrasse gibt es diese aber überall rund um das Hotel

This is an excellently located guesthouse right in the heart of old town. A short walk to the castle (big hill climb), a short walk to lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The accommodation is basic, but perfectly comfortable and safe. The owner was extremely helpful and parked our hire car for us. The breakfast was also excellent. I would highly recommend staying if you want an authentic guesthouse at a very good price.

Very nice place. Room was beautiful and the bed had a great firm mattress. Very conveniently located in the city center, you can walk everywhere. Small stores and Cafés just around the corner. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, only the coffee was cold when it came to the table :D

This boutique hotel in the old quarter of Berat was very conveniently located close to the main thoroughfare, the ancient center, and directly below the castle mount. Step out of the door and enjoy getting lost in the maze of old cobblestone streets that wind their way up the mountain side to the castle. Lots of good restaurants close by and a great view of the old quarter on the other side of the river if you have the right room. The rooms were well appointed, very clean, with functioning air conditioning, and a great shower. They have done a beautiful job of refurbishing the old wood and stone to make it very charming. The owner was always very helpful, helping caring bags, offering great tips on restaurants and things to do. We had a very solid, fresh breakfast with eggs, breads, fruit, and hot petull (an Albanian staple). Two thumbs up.

In the style of the old town. A spiritual place! Wooden furniture. Original paintings by the host's family. We arrived at midnight, but the host was waiting for us and gave us valuable directions for the journey afterwards. Very kind and helpful hosts!

Exceptional! Friendly and accommodating host with comfortable and clean room in a lovely traditional building Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was lovely and the location was central to everything in Berat. There are two Hotel Osumi’ in Berat and we stayed at the one closest to the river. I would also recommend Friendly House restaurant which is very close by for traditional Albanian food at a good price 👍 then walk it off by going up the hill to the castle. Also rafting at Osumi Canyon with Albrafting is a must 🛶

The hotel is easy to find in an amazing location. The room itself looks beautiful, the bes has a firm mattress and it's very quite at night. Breakfast is generous, a lot of stuff to eat. The owner is an amazing lady, she speaks English and Italian too.

Charming family hotel in old town Osumi, we were made very welcome by the family and our room and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We had a lovely spacious room on the ground floor, with a fridge and pretty comfy huge bed. Breakfast was included and everything served up fresh. Location is good for bars and restaurants and the castle looms above. It’s quite a walk up there, with a steep gradient but taxis are available. Even to the hotel, it wouldn’t be easy to get to if you had any mobility issues or the wrong footwear. Help is available with luggage though.
