Super 8 by Wyndham Benton Harbor/St. Joseph

The staff was kind. The hotel was located in a bit of a sketchy area. The room however was filthy. The walls had dried stains on them. The bathroom wall had dried blood on them, and the shower streaky with grime. There were dead bugs along the floor too.

We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. We found the room small but it had a microwave and a refrig which we appreciated. The shower was not a hand held one so a wheelchair confined person would find it likely impossible to use. The toilet did have grab bars on the left side which was helpful to us. The floor was entirely laminate. The bed was quite squeaky. There were no hangers in the room and no cups of any sort. We had trouble with the TV changing channels and we found no channel guide. There was a room phone in the room but it had been disconnected. Breakfast consisted of packaged muffins, granola bars and very bad coffee.

Breakfast could include a few more items such as orange juice and fruit. The hotel is clean and has been updated. We would definitely stay here again. The low price and convenient location , just off of I94. The staff was friendly and professional.

Very dirty hotel. Based on the price I wasn't expecting a 5star hotel but it still wasn't worth the price. It was a 1 star hotel, I will gladly pay the extra money to stay somewhere else next time I am in the area. The bath tub was so grimy I didn't shower for the 3 days/2 nights I was there. There were stains on the bedding and towels, random pieces of candy left in the room, the carpet throughout the hotel looked and smelled like it hadn't been vacuumed since the place was built. The "free breakfast" was granola bars and packaged muffins, and there were floaties in my apple juice. The man at the front desk was nice though.

Sunny was very nice and accommodating and the place was good. No elevator though and I had to climb stairs but he helped me and my little one. The room was clean. The bed kind of high but comfy. Only noise was from truck stop outside. Overall we got good sleep and that’s all we were going to be doing there. Newly renovated and very clean :)

Our room was clean and updated. However, the motel's queen-size bedrooms were limited and all close to highway traffic side. While we requested to switch to a quiet side, the front desk insisted to add $10 more for a king-size bedroom. Usually, when a motel still has a lot of rooms available, they will do customers a favor. This is NOT the case in this motel and will never be. Besides this incident, there was no free breakfast and mini-refrigerator in room as advertised.

This is one of the best place to stay with family , excellent and accommodating staff and owners , all our requests were entertained since we were travelling with a kid , must recommended for the families !!

Nothing to complain about. Seems like hotel been remodeled recently. Clean rooms. We slept like baby. I like 24 hours coffee and we were streaming from Netflix and Wi-Fi was really good. We will come back. recommended.

Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Will give you the nuts and bolts of how well you are taken care of. You pull up, greeted with smiles and them asking you do you have any questions. When you walk in to check in, that process took less than 5 minutes. I usually stay at Quality Inn & Suites but no longer. This place is very clean, up to date, and the staff, particularly Harry, is eager to please. My family has stayed at this hotel three times now and we enjoy the place to it's fullest. Most importantly they recently remodeled their rooms so it looks brand new.
