Bateau Libre Hotel

A lovely boutique hotel in Bénodet close to the port and beaches. There is a 5 minute ferry over to St Marine which is also lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our stay very much. The place has a feel of home about it rather than a hotel - lovely decor. Highly recommend

Jean-Ettiene was a wonderful host. He was very happy to recommend restaurants, and made some great wine recommendations. The hotel was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The decor was very nice, we liked the unusual style. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

What a find! A wonderfully renovated hotel located very centrally in Bénodet, Brittany with a vintage twist to its decoration! We spent 2 nights in the 'Cabine Double Confort' room, on the 2nd floor. It was very quiet giving onto the back of the building and very bright with 5 large windows. There was a even a desk/office area for a bit of home officing! It seems like all the staff were recruited for their smileyness and very warm welcome! To our regret, we did not taste the bar food, but fully enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine there after dinner elsewhere & got to know some of the other guests! Breakfast was delish, with a yogurt & raspberry coulis peppered with lime zest and brown sugar to start with, different kinds of breads, fruits & juices as well as pots of coffee and tea. We asked for capuccinos from the bar, just to get the full coffee hit! There is no designated car park at this hotel, but instead a public car park very close by. Also people with mobility restrictions should be aware that there is no lift to the upper floors (I don't think this was specified on the website), but there is at least one room on the ground floor.

Beautiful hotel and bar, we stopped for drinks and snacks the owners were so accommodating and friendly and we had a lovely chilled family drink! Highly recommend! We didn’t stay in the hotel but the breakfast room and bar area were beautiful

Très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel à la déco stylée et au personnel jeune et super sympa. Emplacement idéal pour les balades, calme et pratique (arrêt de bus à côté, départ des excursions vers les Glénan et l'Odet) au bout de la rue. La soirée "lobster roll", les grignotis apéro autour d'un bon verre de vin et le petit dej avec de bons produits locaux sur une grande table d'hôte sont tops ! Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Très belle établissement d’un nouveau genre. Superbe chambre spacieuse et lumineuse et confortable. Emplacement plein centre mais très calme. Le petit déjeuner façon auberge de jeunesse (1 grande table- pour les taiseux comme nous il y a aussi des tables duo) et de qualité mais mériterait plus de produits salé et de choix. Adresse très recommandable. Une attention particulière vous ai porté via mail si vous avez des demandes. Super

Un hotel où l’on se sent presque comme chez soi, les contraintes en moins. Très bien situé. De belles surfaces que ce soit pour les parties communes, comme la chambre que nous avons eue. Calme, très confortable et propre. Une équipe très souriante et à l’écoute. Le responsable laisse même son numéro de portable en cas de besoin. Très bon petit déjeuner également. En d’autres termes, allez-y sans hésiter si vous séjournez à Benodet!
