3-Sterne-Hotels in Bendigo

I ordered 3 rooms for the weekend for 6 adults. Needed a queen, double and family room. Booked online and received a confirmation email of the three room booking. We would arrive Saturday and leave Sunday. I booked 3 weeks in advance. On Thursday before the weekend I got a phone call from the hotel. It was explained they only had two rooms available. I explained I need 3 rooms and was told there was nothing else available. No apology, nothing, in fact I found the man who called quite rude considering it is the hotels error. Simply all I could get was those two rooms. Poor work on the hotels behalf as apparently my booking only had 2 rooms. I have attached part of the confirmation for my booking. Confirming the three rooms, which I booked on the hotels website so their only excuse is they lost part of my reservation. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR RESERVATION LOST TWO DAYS BEFORE YOU ARE MEANT TO ARRIVE!!

Wir wollten dieses Hotel wirklich lieben. Eine wunderschöne Ort mit schönen Fertigstellungen. Essen war großartig, nicht um das erstaunliche Knoblauchbrett zu erwähnen! Service war weniger als der Durchschnitt, leider. Kein Mitarbeiter schien wie sie dort sein wollten. Persönlichkeiten neben, einige Grundausbildung würde nicht verwirren, um die Menschen an der Tür zu begrüßen durch das Zeichen, dass sagt “Bitte warten Sie, dass sie sitzen” anstatt über ein paar Mal zu schauen und dann von der hinter der Bar zu schreien, wenn es keine andere in der Restaurant und servieren einige Seitenplatten für einen gemeinsamen Eingang und 4 Personen. Wir sind riesig für den Service und dieser Ort war es nicht.

Excellent location. Very clean with good facilities including a very comfortable bed & a roomy, modern bathroom. The adjoining hotel bistro was a welcome bonus. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative aspect was noisy guests upstairs in the early hours of the morning…just a bit annoying.

Had some dramas initially as I had booked this through ********** and had to change the room and it was messy however Tracey at Allawah was so helpful and rang me, emailed me and in the end, it was sorted, no fault of Allawah. We stayed 2 nights, 2 couples in the Maisonette rooms (approx 100 year old building) and we had a great time. It was clean. Jarrod(?) was particularly helpful when we got there and checked us in without us doing a thing! He then went out of his way to get us included on a fully booked pizza night. He organised a table and it was a great night. The maisonette rooms are directly next to the outdoor area. We were upstairs Room 4 and my sister and her party were downstairs. I like the convenience of the rooms being in the area of the outdoor area, although it may not suit everyone. The rooms were comfortable and they were cool and breezy nights but the rooms were warm without heating. We didn't eat at the wine bank, so I won't comment but the pizza night was worth the $25 per head for pizza. Conveniently located. The only downside was there is not much parking available out back but we got a park. Thanks for the stay and thanks to both Tracey and Jarrod. Be safe!

We stayed for 2 nights on a recent trip. The room and bathroom were both very clean. We found the bed to be comfortable and, although near the road, did not notice the traffic noise. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Finally, we realised a day later we had left a pillow in the room. On contacting the motel we were able to arrange to have the pillow posted back to us. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and cooperative in arranging the return the pillow for which we are very grateful. We were very happy and thankful for the extra time and effort the young lady put in.

We stayed overnight in Bendigo to attend an exhibition at the Art Gallery. The Oval Motel is centrally located, about 5-10 minutes walk down View Street to the city centre. It's an older building but the bedroom we had been updated and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was another story - small, long and narrow - it would benefit from an upgrade. Note that the motel is located on Barnard Street, which gets busy. Request a room at the back if you're sensitive to road noise. Also recommend booking directly through their website for a better deal.

Recently stayed in a cabin with family. What a fantastic park! Our cabin was spacious and we were provided with everything you need to cook with. Full size fridge. Large bathroom. The park has wonderful activities for children our 4 year old had a fantastic time there was a put put course, indoor & outdoor play area. All the staff were very kind and helpful with anything you need Booking was super easy. The park has some beautiful looking cabins they have camping style cabins that looks awesome! Will have to try that cabin next time! All the guests we met were very kind and having a great time while staying at the park. Really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully we can visit again soon. The park is located back from the main road. There is a couple of restaurants and a pub in walking distance.

The location was good, about 15 minutes walk to the city centre, with a Woolworths nearby. Although my room was at the back, there was a lot of noise from the road. The room was dark and gloomy though fairly comfortable and well equipped. There was a large communal table outside my door where a group of guests congregated, shouting and swearing and being generally rowdy - including on their return from a night out at 3am. When I left my room I had to step over the pile of beer cans they left behind. I won’t be returning.

Ok for overnight stop on long road trip. Pros - comfortable bed. Kitchenette just microwave, toaster, kettle along bench of small motel room. Do dishes in bathroom. Adequate for preparing breakfast & reheating. Cons - noisy & dated Outside stairs so request a groundfloor room if preferred.
