Days Inn by Wyndham Bellville Mansfield

Unassuming building but very nice rooms with great beds and nice remodeled bathroom. Only 15 minutes from the Ohio State reformatory and Mansfield Ohio. Right off of the highway and many restaurants and gas stations etc on the same road. No elevator so if you need accessibility be sure to request a first floor room.

I chose this hotel based on price point and it was a good value. The room was clean and the bed comfortable . Even though it is close to the highway, it was quiet. There is a good restaurant in walking distance. The hotel provided hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagels, pastries, cereal, etc for breakfast. You could also make your own waffles. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The shower had a nice configuration of jets. For the down side, the handheld portion of the shower was broken and not fixed during my stay. Three days in I had to ask to have my room cleaned. The free coffee was pretty bad. I walked to the local convenience store for coffee instead.

This hotel is right by the highway but it’s a little strange to find. The hotel itself doesn’t look standout but the rooms are clean and look updated. The shower looked really nice although we didn’t use it and the bathroom mirror was big and nicely lit. Very large mini fridge. Weirdly, the ceiling lights (3 of them) didn’t fully turn off when you turned off the light and they kind of glowed all night long. The curtains didn’t fully block out the bright sunlight parking lot lights either although this night not be an issue on the other side of the hotel. We didn’t try the included breakfast.

CHeck in with the night person went good, no jail window! This hotel is SMALL. The building is half the size of most hotels of this era. They enclosed the steps that go to the 2nd level which was kind of odd. Its located right along the intestate but once in the room, I NEVER heard anything. Its also within walking distance of the Loves as well as several other places to go. The room is ULTRA MODERN! Looks very new and the type of room you would expect in a Hilton or Marriott. It removed the awkward sink outside the bathroom concept and made it all 1 room. Shower has this Japanese inspired setup with all sorts of features. The downside is the floor can get slippery. Bed was VERY comfy! TV was a Roku TV which was awesome, just took a bit to figure out how to watch the actual cable channels. WiFi didn't work so great on the first night. You'd get amazing speeds and then it just went to 0 for about 10 seconds, then would start working again. It was consistently inconsistent, so I couldn't use it. Desk chair in my room did not work well but did the job. Overall, $100 a night is a bit steep, but the room was the nicest I've seen for a budget chain.

The outside might look a little older but the rooms are super nice and staff is sweet and breakfast was good too. A very nice stay and you won’t go wrong with this one. The beds were very comfy and we love the bathroom and how nice the shower is too.

The property is older, but has been renovated, which is good because the lobby window was badly cracked and did not make a good first impression. But the clerk was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was limited to continental items including cereal and muffins. But the new shower was great!

Older, dated motel, but the room was surprisingly clean and modern. The location was good, but the ice machine was on the other side of the building, which was rather inconvenient. Frankly, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was compared to our first impression of the building and lobby.

The young lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful, and directed us to the best dining places (at the next exit). Our accessible room (111) was very nice. The king bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and the shower was very good. The lady at the desk the next morning confirmed that the room was renovated last year. The only comments I have to make are: the toilet really should have a lid on it for sanitary reasons, and the room could use another chair.

Stayed here for a 7k race for the shawshank hustle. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was near a highway and I couldn't hear a thing, and it was close to the race at the prison. The room smelled so fresh and clean. For being a newer hotel,it was great and i would stay here again.
