Beaufort Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at the Beaufort Hotel. The room was gorgeous and clean. I liked the way my name was on the television when I arrived. Kalei helped me get my bags into my car. I really appreciated that because my Mom was in a wheelchair. Thank you, Kalei, for your help with the valet parking.

Stunning property on the banks of Taylor Creek Our room was spacious & beautifully appointed, balcony overlooking the creek. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space The rooms are in a separate building across a covered walkway Parking was the only issue, either you valet for $15/day or you self park quite a distance from the hotel. Valet was easy & efficient The bar on premises was lovely with a top notch bartender who remembered my husbands drink preference from the previous night Lobby is large & modern

Staff was wonderful! Gavin and Justin were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were clean and updated. Pool area was wonderful. Quiet respite and the restaurant and bar staff were fun and fantastic! Quality food and drink!

We were invited to this beautiful boutique resort for a family wedding. Beaufort Hotel- beautiful, peacefully quiet and elegant waterside resort alongside Taylor Creek right in the nearby historic Beaufort district. Rooms- were welcoming, spacious and tastefully appointed. It was so inviting to walk into a nicely cooled air conditioned space after coming in from a long drive in the sweltering summer heat!! There were spaces to lounge inside our room, with enough outlets to plug in and a nice bedside Qi wireless pad to recharge all the devices you could possibly need! Amenities- pool area is outdoors with lounge chairs and there was an ability to order food from their local restaurant and it could be delivered right to you at poolside. Parking is valet for $15 per night or you may use self parking which is located off the street before entering the main driveway. The rooms and hotel public spaces were very clean and the staff were very friendly. It is located not too far from the historic district area. A very nice place to visit.

Awesome, clean room. The beds are amazing along with the pillows. The bathroom is perfect. The shower is huge and water pressure just right. Very quiet. Pool very clean and sauna just right. It’s not heated but water was warm. The staff very nice and helpful. They offer clean towels for pool. Slippers and a robe! Loved every minute of this stay. They offer valet parking services and all of them were very respectful and nice.

Beautiful facility. Staff is fantastic. Buyer beware, this place is a wedding factory. Thus, the lobby is a zoo and way too loud on the weekends and many guests were drunk and disorderly at all hours of the night. Not sure if I would try the restaurant given the noise and the fact it shares a common area with the bar/lobby area. Truly unfortunate as I wanted to like this place.

Nice, clean hotel. Off the beaten path. Quite pricey for any room other than pool or no view especially for Fall. Only issue is parking. Guests pretty much have no choice other than Valet parking, $15 per day since the only other option is a block away in a shady looking, not secured gravel lot next to an old metal building. I understand when it is peak season but there was plenty of room in their valet lot that could have been used for free this time of year.

We've been to Beaufort several times in the past but have always stayed in B&B's. Decided to try the Beaufort Hotel based on recommendations and we were glad we did. Like most reviews, the staff was excellent, the rooms were upscale, comfortable and clean (save for the one dead roach belly-up in the middle of the floor) on entry, and the views from the rooms along the waterway were outstanding. The restaurant, 34N, was beautiful, with stunning views of the Rachel Carson Nature Preserve across the waterway. Our meals were outstanding (best shrimp and grits I've had in a restaurant) and our server Shannon was the best! Attentive, efficient, and answered all of our local questions. She was so good that we would ask to be seated in her station next time. My only gripe is the valet service. While it's not mandatory, the Hotel says you either use the service or you can park your car 200 yds off the site. So here's my gripe: The Valet Parking is $15/day. If you want your car multiple times during the day to venture around, you have to call the valet service and have it retrieved. Although the lot is next door to the Hotel on an old parking lot that's the size of a football field. The free shuttle is great, until it's not. The last night of our stay, we scheduled the shuttle at 3pm for a 6pm departure into town for dinner. The advertised end of service was 10p so we had plenty of time for a stroll and dinner. Except when we loaded up to leave for town, the driver told us they were short help but they would have one of the maintenance people come pick us up "as long as you can get back by 7:30-8:00p since that was the end of their shift". Definitely shortened our dinner evening and added a little stress to an otherwise enjoyable night. Finally, we planned an early departure next day so I notified the front desk we would need the Valet service to bring our car around about 6:30a. She said that would be fine since they come on service at 6:00am. At 6:20a we were at the front of the hotel ready to leave, when the desk clerk notified me that the morning valet had not arrived yet. She retrieved my key and gave me instructions how to walk to the lot. We loaded up and were on our way. A humorous note; the valet service is automated in that you receive notifications by text regarding status of your requests. About 10 miles down the road we received an update that the valet was "hustling to retrieve our car and would we like to have a tip added to our bill?" Hmmm.......

An amazing experience in every way. Have had meals here in the past but this was our first stay and it will not be our last. Beautiful property, immaculate rooms, outstanding food, but the real treat was the staff. Seemed seriously intent on making us feel welcome, outgoing and friendly and eager to accommodate. Thank you, Beaufort Hotel staff for all your efforts to make our trip so special!
