My recent experience at JRW Welmond Hotel & ****** in Batumi was nothing short of a nightmare. From the abysmal cleanliness to the inconsiderate staff, I cannot stress enough how I would strongly discourage anyone from choosing this hotel for their stay. I hope this letter reaches you as a sincere attempt to share my terrible experience at your establishment. My intention is not to complain needlessly, but rather to highlight the many shortcomings I encountered during my stay. My decision to stay at your hotel was based on its slightly higher rating, but the reality was a stark contrast. The rating should not be above 2, and this is me being generous. My time at your hotel left such a negative impression that even now, I find it hard to shake off the disappointment. My recommendation to anyone considering a stay at your hotel is unequivocal: NEVER stay here! First and foremost, I must address the issue of your reception staff. Their rudeness and their unwarranted refusal to speak Russian was utterly bewildering. It's essential to remind them that they are employees of your hotel and should conduct themselves accordingly, with respect and professionalism. I was aghast at the condescending attitude I encountered. The state of cleanliness throughout your hotel was deplorable. From the entrance area to the hotel lobby, the sofas, and even the shower room, everything was filthy. The internet connection was unreliable, the shower room leaked, and the mattress in my room had protruding springs. To make matters worse, the curtains were so dusty and dirty that they should not be touched at all. The windows were terribly dirty, obscuring any view. The breakfast offered was well below average, with food quality that left much to be desired. The restaurant staff's loud behavior was disruptive and inconsiderate to the guests trying to enjoy their meals. The pool area was in desperate need of renovation, with equipment and infrastructure visibly falling apart. The room I was given was supposed to have a sea view, but the reality was far from it. Instead, I had a view of some cranes on the embankment, which was far from the serene ocean view I had anticipated. My stay was so disheartening that I decided to check out immediately after breakfast, unwilling to endure another minute at your hotel. I implore you to take my feedback seriously and consider addressing the issues I've raised. I sincerely hope that you can improve the quality of your hotel and provide future guests with a more pleasant and comfortable experience.
