I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

Wieso habe ich dieses Haus zwischen diesem Hotel und einem anderen gefroren, das ich lange gewählt habe, vor allem durch Fotos von Trip.com Hotelzimmern, mit einem großen Fenster, das den Garten und den grünen Boden durch das Fenster sehen kann. Aber nach dem Aufenthalt fand ich, wo es ein Fenster auf dem Boden gibt, und ich habe mehr darüber nachgedacht. Ich weiß nicht, warum die reservierte luxuriöse Suite in drei Stockwerken geplant ist, das Fenster ist relativ klein und draußen ist eine Wand, ich kann im Grunde nicht sehen, wie das Zimmer draußen aussieht. Sehr enttäuscht. Außerdem ist die Zimmeranlage etwas alt und die Klimaanlage hat immer geräuschlos, sehr schlau, die Toilette ist groß, aber keine Heizung, die Badewanne ist sehr kalt und die Badewanne ist auch besonders einfach... Aber nicht sehr gut mit diesem Preis. Das einzige, was man bewundern kann, ist, dass sein Restaurant nicht schlecht ist. Einige der Gerichte, die wir bestellen, sind lecker.

Es war ein schöner und ruhiger Ort zum Übernachten ... Besonders Casey war eine wirklich nette Person! Er war nett und hat köstliche Cocktails gemacht. ㅎㅎ Das Gebäude war wunderschön und die Zimmer waren bewohnbar. Es ist etwas klein und hat keinen Kühlschrank, aber ich schätze, das macht nichts, wenn man es im Herbst und Winter einfach vor dem Fenster stehen lässt. Das Shampoo und das Duschgel waren von Scottish Fine Soap, also fand ich es toll! Schade ist allerdings die große Distanz zum Stadtzentrum... Wer viel Gepäck dabei hat, sollte sich besser eine Unterkunft in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums suchen. Da es ein Hügel ist, können Sie dorthin laufen, aber mit Gepäck ... ist es besser, einen Bus oder ein Taxi zu nehmen. Ich empfehle es trotzdem, da die Aussicht auf Bath auf dem Weg nach unten die beste ist!

Insgesamt war unsere Reise einfach perfekt. Das Hotel liegt hervorragend und bietet ausreichend Parkplätze. Für nur 15 £ pro 24 Stunden fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Das Hotel liegt zwar auf einem Hügel, aber die Busse fahren regelmäßig direkt vor der Tür. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und bot eine riesige Auswahl. Es hat uns bestens für den Tag gestärkt. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Located on a hill top outside the Bath city, the hotel provides what we needed for one night's stay. The only shirtcoming is we had to drive into the city for dinner as we wanted something different from what the hotel restaurant provided. Apart from the location, we were happy with our stay.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. The location is not very convenient and not sure why but the buses that stop in front of the hostel do not show on either google map or apple map so I only found out there there were direct buses after arriving the hostel. However, instead of taking buses, I highly recommend walking to the city centre as you will walk through an amazing field of grassland. The room is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended!

Das Rezeptionpersonal ist sehr freundlich warm willkommen, Zimmergröße ist ok, Bad ist vernünftig, aber separate Tappen ist eine Frage sollte ein Mixer Tappe für warmes und kaltes Wasser sein, Großer Parkplatz, Frühstück ist sehr nett Ich fühlte mich schämlich und unbehaglich am letzten Frühstück am vorigen Tag, als ich mit dem Aufsichtsrat des Tages gesprochen hatte, um zu sehen, ob sie die Mini-Kreuzheiligen machen oder kaufen, wie ich ein paar zu kaufen wollte, um zu Hause zu meinen Söhnen zu nehmen, Ich wurde informiert, dass das ein Buffet so ich willkommen, so viele wie ich will, und wie morgen ist mein letzter Tag kann ich diese frisch dann, sie hatten kein Problem in mir, das zu tun, so am letzten Tag habe ich mit dem Aufsichtsbehörde gesprochen, der sagte, er wurde informiert re dies aber er erlaubt nicht und Ich habe mich sehr unbehaglich gemacht, da es andere Gäste da waren und wenn es eine Frage war, die der Aufsichtsbehörde vor dem Tag nicht hätte gesagt, dass es ok und dass sie das für andere Gäste getan haben, Er sagte dann, er würde mich nicht zulassen, aber er würde mir ein Paar geben und gab mir 3 in einem Box, ich fühlte mich sehr beschämend und wenig in diesem Raum der Zeit, die Art und Weise, wie er sprach und sein Ton war nicht nett Ich fühlte mich sehr gelassen am letzten Tag und das hat mich verlassen ein negatives Eindruck

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath. On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.
