Chestnuts House Boutique B&B

The hotel was very nice with all the amenities available. It’s just less than 10 mins walking from the town center. Parking slots are also available. The breakfast was amazing.

What a perfect place to stay. We arrived earlier than expected but were welcomed by the friendly staff and allowed to use our room early. Room was spotless and had all you could want, a mini fridge with fresh milk and a daily slice of cake left each day. Breakfast was fantastic and a great variety for a B & B. Close to the centre of Bath. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Chestnuts House on a Friday night in October, and it could not have been better. Our host Toni was very responsive to questions before our arrival, and made our stay perfect in every way, including making one of the best B&B breakfasts we have ever had! It was great to find somewhere for just one night, when many places in Bath have two night minimums, or are ghastly corporate type hotels. You can park right out front in the driveway (for free). It's an easy walk into the centre of town yet you're in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. The bed was really comfortable, and the room nicely decorated. The only regret was that we didn't have the time to stay for a second night to experience another of Toni's amazing breakfasts!

On arrival we were welcomed at the front door and asked by the owner Toni if we required help with our luggage, which he obliged with He gave us a full description of our surroundings and the facilities in our room Our room was immaculate, well equipped with everything we needed, also a very comfortable bed On our table /desk we were adequately supplied with a very good selection of tea, coffee , biscuits etc and also presented with a lemon tart , this was replaced the following day with 2 pieces of shortbread after our room and been cleaned In the morning we sat in a clean, well organised dining room and presented with what I can only describe as the best breakfast we have ever tasted Cooked and served in a timely manner by Toni, we could not fault it During our stay he informed us that he was on his own over the weekend, but this was never even noticed as he went about his duties impecably, so goodness knows what an extra pair of hands would have achieved. Everything about Chestnuts House is outstanding and made our stay in Bath absolutely perfect.

Would absolutely recommend Chestnuts House B & B to anyone travelling to Bath. The room was spotless and had everything you needed for your stay. Lovely touch with a couple of cake slices left in the room for our arrival along with plenty of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate and biscuits. Toni was a great host and the croissant and cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. There's even a little garden to sit in. Sadly only stayed one night, wish it could have been longer. Would definitely return if visiting Bath again.
