Inn for All Seasons

Stayed here for 1 night recently. This is a lovely place to stay. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet and all you needed was in the room. We ate here in the evening and the food was excellent and a very varied choice. The restaurant was full. Drink prices on par with hotels which I would have expected. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. If ever visiting this part of the country again we would definitely stay here.

We stayed here for 1 night and had a lovely stay! Every single member of staff was exceptional - the reception staff, bar and restaurant staff and the breakfast staff. All very friendly and helpful and made our stay an excellent one. The food was also wonderful - very flavoursome and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant! The room was a bit tired and in need of updating but was spacious clean and comfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights fortunately in Room 1 which was the room situated furthest away from the A40 so the traffic noise was less intrusive. Room 1 is large but definitely in need of some tlc . Certainly for the daily cost of the room the bathroom needs attention, mould removed , shower fixed and sink taps repaired. Staff were friendly and efficient and the restaurant serves good quality varied evening meals and breakfasts. We would not choose to stay here again because of its position on the A40.

Charming - yes, food amazing, (congratulations to all the kitchen team) staff very attentive, BUT unless you enjoy listening to non-stop traffic at night - AVOID booking a room on the front facing the A40. We were kept awake until around 2.30 a.m. with constant traffic roaring by, then it all started up again by 5.30 a.m. Thankfully it was only a one night stay otherwise we'd have certainly checked out. The bar area is very welcoming and the restaurant - however the residents lounge is very unwelcoming. Instead of providing nice comfy sofa's (apart from one) there's a further large dining table and other hard chairs and tables. We chose to enjoy a coffee on the only sofa then called it a night. Breakfasts are very good and served in the conservatory.

Visited the Cotswold s while I was over in the UK and came across this beautiful 16th Century coaching Inn, what a lovely old place, lovely spacious room. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Friendly staff and great service. Ideal place to stay if you want to checkout Diddly Swot farm.

We chose this venue in order to celebrate my Mother in laws 82nd birthday, and as relatives who were travelling from Surrey would be coming via the A40, I thought this establishment would be suitable place to meet up. We arrived at lunchtime and were very impressed with the style and ambience of the dining area that we were shown too. We ordered drinks which duly arrived and then ordered starters and mains. The quality and taste of the starters and mains were excellent and sensibly portioned. The majority of us also ordered desserts /coffee/tea which were also tasty and well presented. The service was excellent and special mention to Julia our waitress who was friendly and delivered all our food in a timely manner. Many thanks to all the staff for a thoroughly enjoyable family lunchtime experience. We will definitely return.

Charming atmosphere and very accommodating staff. We stayed there with family and we really enjoyed it so much. Food are delish and reasonable for it's price. The free breakfast is another plus as you have so many options to choose from. Overall, we are very satisfied and it's highly recommend.

Really lovely pub on the A40. Beautiful building, inside full of character. We popped in on our way home back to Surrey for some dinner. Food was superb ...Staff were accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

A beautiful choice for a stay away in the Cotswolds. Lovely room with big window and great view. Extremely cool. AFood very reaonable in price too. Had great service from Riley in the restaurant. A born maitre di who could not have made us feel more welcome. So accomodating and interested in all of his customers. Great breakfast this morning. Again - really good and friendly service and lovely coffee and cooked food. I would definitely go back. Keen to explore the local footpaths and have drinks in the garden. Jane
