Wir haben das Camp als stop over von Arusha auf dem Weg zur Serengeti genutzt. Bietet sich mit einem Besuch des Tarangire NP an, um keine 8 h im Auto zu sitzen. Schöne Anlage mit sehr freundlichem staff. Zebras, Gnus, Hippos im Umfeld und auch darin. Affen im Camp! Gutes Restaurant mit Buffet, Bar und auch kleinem Fitnessbereich. Unterkünfte tlw. auf festem Untergrund sehr komfortabel und sauber. Wlan. Kartenzahlung mit Aufpreis. Alles in allem 4,5. Zu empfehlen

Das Camp war unsere 1 Station. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Nette Leute gutes Essen sehr schöne Zelte mit allem was man im Busch braucht Nachts vor dem Zelt kann man einige Tiere beobachten, einmal sogar ein Elefant Vielen dank an das ganze Team Roland und Gabi

Dzedah,the manager of Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, warmly welcomed my wife and I and explained all the meal times and facilities as soon as we arrived. The setting on the lake was wonderful. We swam in a large swimming pool watching birds and one giraffe at the lakeside. All of our meals were first rate and the meal service was excellent. The lodge even provided us the opportunity to pick what food items we wanted for our lunch during an all day safari. All in all, we have stayed at several tented camps and my wife and I rate this camp as one we enjoyed the most.

A place I will never forget! It is located within the Serengeti. Clean and spacious tents, good buffet food and a super helpful and caring staff. At night, you’re escorted by a guy with arrow and bow. But above all: they can organise a Bush dinner. That’s where I was asked to marry my husband. In the middle of the Savannah, a fire, candle light, super attentive staff members and security guys, champagne and delicious food. Oh, and I said: yes!

Our stay at Baobab Tented Camp in Tarangire was nothing short of magical. Despite arriving late due to an unexpected but wonderful delay in the park, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and our family tent felt like something straight out of a movie. We slept wonderfully well, and waking up to the sight of an elephant on the property was an incredible experience that we'll never forget. The meals were consistently excellent, and even the lunch boxes provided were of top quality. Baobab Tented Camp truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this camp to anyone seeking an extraordinary and memorable safari experience in Tarangire.

We stayed at Baobab Tented Camp for one night but we loved every minute of it. When we arrived two elephants were walking inside the Camp. In fact, we could see them from the window of our tent! In addition, a female lion killed a sebra just next to our tent when we came back from the dinner. We will remember this night for the rest of our lives! The staff of Baobab camp is just fantastic! Thank you for everything!

It was a fabulous night’s introduction to our upcoming Safari. Aside from the food and accommodation what was most impressive above everything were the sounds of the nature throughout the night. We went on to all the game parks and reserves in the region, but I never heard the same bush sounds again. I regretted not recording it.

Absolutely fantastic, loved everything about our experience/trip. The food was phenomenal, the staff were so lovely and our Safari guide Bonny was completely outstanding. The staff and security went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, which is exactly what we did. The chefs were superb, amazing food and incredible lunchboxes during our day Safari trips. The desserts were great, we all fought over the last pieces, especially the meatballs which we had to split the last meatball into 4 pieces. The security made us feel so safe, they are brilliant at what they do and are so kind to us. We did not want to leave, and can’t wait to go back.

The camp was exactly what we wanted. Small and charming, secluded and surrounded by gigantic baobabs, very comfortable tents and bedding, excellent food, professional and friendly staff. If you want to experience the authentic safari experience this is the camp to stay. The Tarangire National Park is also truly worth a visit and highly underrated in comparison with the Serengeti, as it is not so vast and the animals are easier to spot.
