TownePlace Suites Austin North/Lakeline

I have been at the TownePlace Inn and suites for a few months now and have nothing but wonderful things to say. Troy and Kenny are fantastic and help with everything. They make you feel at home and assist with all of your needs. Requesting room cleans are super easy and utilizing the laundry facilities is organized and clean. I recommend this location for anyone who is needing a place to stay in North Austin.

Great longer stay hotel with even better staff. Troy at the front desk was extraordinarily helpful! I had a few things I needed help with and he solved every problem. Rooms clean and up to date. I would definitely stay again. Close to everything.

Excellent hotel location. The staff at this hotel are always very friendly and professional. Kuddos to the front desk, Kenny and Troy. Five stars for excellent / stellar service. I highly recommend this hotel property for business or leisure.

The staff at this hotel wee incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our most enjoyable weekend. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed delicious hot breakfast each morning. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. Amazing place to stay. Will return in the future.

Gave this place a poor due to three issues. One, their laundry machines show $3 and same for dryer. They trick you into thinking that is the price - it is for the simplest and lowest settings. Want to wash at normal setting? Add another quarter. Want a heavy load, add another quarter! Nowhere was this posted. Scammers! Second, I usually get upgraded rooms due to my status (highest lifetime level they offer) but wasn't offered anything. The rooms are small for extended stay if you are more than one person. It's only 321 sq ft or so... too small for an extended stay room at $104 a night plus taxes! The lobby, elevator, and hallways had a rancid seaweed smell. Not sure where that was coming from but very unpleasant. For those who don't like European showers, don't stay here. This is what they have installed in the bathrooms.

I meant to send a review in before now. We had such a great time in Austin on July 4th. We checked out many new places in our favorite city, that were right by the hotel. We want to acknowledge 3 associates that went way above and beyond!! At the desk, Neo (excellent) was sweet and inviting. And Kenny, too. But Fruela, who seemed to handle all of the public areas? She was amazing. So friendly and helpful. My husband and I grew up managing Marriotts and this limited service is functioning like a full. When we see outstanding service, we've got to shout it out! Well done! We'll be back!

Employees are thieves. Avoid this property. I asked the front desk about the missing items. They said they would ask housekeeping. No follow up no resolution. I stay at hotels very often and have not had items stolen in the past. Being a Marriott Platinum member I am rethinking my loyalty to the Marriott brand.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend due to the ACL festival. Our room had a king sized bed and a lot of amenities such as a couch, kitchenette with a mini stove, mini-dishwasher, full sized refrigerator, dishware for cooking and eating and a nice desk area to work. We arrived a little after 1am and were greeted by Jay at the front desk. Jay was very courteous and warm during the checkin. We had some internet connection issues on my laptop, but Jay kindly helped us through it by calling the internet provider to help set up the connect to the laptop. We can't stress enough how kind and patient Jay was to us during our stay. He always had a big smile on his face and was eager to help in any way he could during our visit. We plan on staying again for next year!

My company booked me a room here as I was going to be an extended-stay of more than a week for training and naturally, as one would, I worried that I wouldn't have anything necessary to make my stay comfortable and less home-like. When I got to the property, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Brenda Rast. She was very polite, very helpful and did a great job acknowledging the fact that I was away from home and that I was a human being (some hotels just treat you as a money machine). My room was very clean and stocked with everything I needed in the kitchen! Plates, utensils, cups, a fridge... it was home! Later on, I decided to get out and see what was around town and Brenda was very helpful in recommending several spots. I went to this place called "Little Woodsters" and it was a nice bar. I opted to eat pizza there was pleasantly surprised at the fact that this was not a chain pizza place! The parking lot of the hotel is very well lit (I would suggest parking in the front). The swimming pool is kept very clean (I enjoyed late afterhours swimming) and I used the fitness center almost daily. Quaint marketplace in the front, ability to checkout board games, books etc. Free breakfast. Unfortunately, I was there when Brenda wasn't so I didn't have someone to carry conversation with (fellow Celtics fan here) but I did interact with Troy at one point and I think he could use a lesson or two in customer service. Look, all this aside, the staff is great, attentive, and treat you as a valued guest. If you need a place, stay here! Thank you for making my stay stress and hassle-free!
