Fairfield Inn & Suites Atmore

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was so clean that I could smell the freshly used cleaning products. (That is HUGE to me, even more now that we've lived through Covid.) I loved how caring and patient the front desk staff was especially when I was very nervous about the storms. This was my first trip to Atmore but, if I come down again, this is where I will stay.

Nicer of most of the hotels I have seen or stayed at in this area. Clean, inviting friendly staff! The whole experience all around was fantastic!

This was one of the worst customer experiences ever. To start, when I arrived at 11pm at night, the front desk was blasting music for the whole first floor to hear. It was so loud I could barely even hear the lady at the counter. Secondly, they were in the midst of changing out curtains in the hotel and had hundreds of curtains littering the hallways. It looked like a construction site. Lastly, I ended up cutting my trip short due to an emergency back home. When I tried to get a copy of my bill at my check out, I encountered the rudest women ever. She refused to check me out or provide me a bill and even threatened to call the cops on me when I asked for a manager. The only thing pleasant about this hotel was the nice lady who worked in the breakfast area each morning. I will never stay here again and neither should anyone else.

Great hotel stay! I typically don't stay in Atmore overnight but the timing with my trip worked and I stayed at the Fairfield. Nice hotel, clean, comfy, and a great breakfast in the morning! I would definitely stay again. It's a bit tricky to find the entrance, go and turn across from the Hampton/McDonalds and there is a road that leads to the parking lot.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. There was no advance notice of said renovation on the website. No signs or notices posted at the hotel either. During the daytime hours, we noticed minimal construction noise (we were on the 4th floor). It was a great surprise when we arrived to find we had been given a recently renovated room! MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer than the “horror” photos from other reviewers. Very excited to see how the rest of the renovation turns out!

I had a meeting in Atmore and chose this hotel as it was the only Marriott product close. The arrival was good with a friendly desk agent that shared about the area and amenities. My room was close to the elevator which was nice and it was spacious. The low rating is a result of cleanliness, the hallways were littered with trash and my room was not clean overall, lots of dust and a few hairs in the bathroom. The breakfast was the typical fare, and the attendant was friendly. Checkout was easy and professional.

Horrible experience- an extremely dirty hotel and poor customer service. Yet the hotel brags that they are the “newest” hotel in the area…. SCARY TO THINK!! My family traveled to the area for a funeral, checked into 2 rooms the night before and both were tragically dirty and not ready for guest… Floor not vacuumed, crumbs on the table, beds not made/ old sheets, weird musty type odor, no lightbulbs in lamps, tv didn’t work, dirty towels and hanging over the shower rod. Immediately called the manager who admitted the rooms were not clean and acknowledged all the issues, but said we could not change rooms because we had pulled the covers back on the beds. After explaining we were checking the sheets and mattresses and had only been in the room 5 minutes, the manager said that didn’t matter. She then proceeded to smooth out the sheets, but failed, so we asked for new bedding, but was told no. The manager said, the sheets were clean, the bed has just been poorly made. We asked if we could just cancel the reservation and were told by the manager that if we checked out we would be charged for the night as well as an early checkout fee, but were assured that everything would get fixed by the time we returned from dinner. When we returned for dinner we were concerned for our safety as there were about 5 police officers in the lobby. We asked the front desk what happened we were told- The police were there taking care of something and it’s done. We then returned to our rooms and saw nothing had been done. We went back to the front desk to ask what happened and was told if we checked out in the morning we would not be charged any penalties or for an additional night. We checked out first thing in the morning and booked another room in Mobile, AL over an hour away.

We were given Room 209, a 2 Bed Room Type with a mini Microwave and mini Refrigerator. The Room could use brighter Lighting, it seems too dimly lit. The Closet was very small. There is No personal Safe. The Hotel was clean, and the Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This Hotel could have more Stars but the one night that we were there it was loud banging going on throughout the Hotel during the Sleeping Hours mainly, a worker told me that it was because a Washing Machine was being repaired and that this is usually is not the case. Also, for the complimentary Breakfast it was a minimum of choices and was with No Bagels, and the Muffins were Stale. Otherwise, the Room was comfortable. The Hotel has an Indoor Pool, and an Exercise Room. The area and Hotel felt safe.
