Courtyard Appleton Riverfront

wonderful hotel on the shores of the fox - a true gem in appleton. love the staff too - especially weston at the bistro/bar. he’s so personable and authentic - always took a genuine interest in our day and anything he could do to help make our stay and experience as positive as possible. we’ll be back primarily because of him.

Lovely modern feel hotel . Near Lawerence University and on the Fox River. We opted for balcony room riverside and it was lovely as were the outdoor areas and landscaping. There is a nice walking trail that we intended to use until a tweaked back interfered. We requested a top floor riverside balcony room - a little last minute so we were put on the next floor down and yes, we could hear walking noise from above. All in all a pleasant one night stay.

This gem of a hotel is tucked away from the noise. The lobby area was beautiful w/plenty of private booths w/TVs. They have a bar and mini store w/ all your needs. The staff especially Keith was very kind and accommodating to my special request. It was game day so he gave us great advice on how to navigate during the football time. Our room was lovely, it was clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here. They are close to restaurants and bars which was a plus for my family.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary after being in town for our sons football game. We chose this hotel for the beautiful location, you can't beat the views of the river or all the awesome walking trails that are close by! We booked the king bed room with balcony and river view, which was spacious and very clean. We were quite disappointed that coffee in the lobby was not included (other Marriotts that we've stayed at offered free coffee in the lobby even tho they too had a Starbucks and attached bistro), and that if you wanted to use bottled water to make the awful tasting coffee in your room you had to pay over $4 for the bottle of Evian, typically they'll leave 2 complimentary bottles of water for the coffee pot. Minor, but for the cost of the room, this should have been provided. We would consider staying here again if we found a good deal, but not for $270/night with tax.

this hotel allows pets, which is great, unless you have the unfortunate luck of having a room below a neglected dog. This was our scenario for our anniversary celebration, and the hotel has zero recourse for a noisy dog. the only thing they can do is call the occupants of the room. we ended up leaving, having spent zero out of 2 nights in that place. we were offered a free breakfast as long as we were willing to endure a night filled with dog barks....

We really enjoyed our stay at this Courtyard. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, and we spent a very pleasant time relaxing there and looking at the river. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was good, with an excellent shower. The location on the river was very quiet and on a walking trail which led up to a large park. The location was convenient to downtown, but secluded from that busy area. There is a restaurant there if you want to stay in for dinner or breakfast. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here twice and the location is wonderful on the river with balconies overlooking the river. The rooms are nice and clean and the hotel has a modern feel to it. Comfortable beds and friendly service as well as the wonderful location make this a winner.

Visually this is a nice hotel. But, this hotel tries to sneaky charges. I had multiple issues with my billing and I am having to chase them to fix them. All my positive experience has been diminished after this headache and the staffs lack of urgency to correct their mistakes.

We stayed at the Courtyard Appleton Riverside this past weekend with 17 families for a soccer tournament, and I got nothing but good feedback from the families on the hotel. Lindsey was very helpful in getting us a block of rooms, and was great to work with. Hotel is located right on the river and has a nice pathway to walk on. There is a great area outside to sit and hang out by the fire. The Bistro had somewhat limited hours, but Tempest Coffee is a 3 minute walk along the river for Coffee, Smoothies and Breakfast.
