Poor experience from the beginning. First room smelled like everything was wet and starting to mold, the towels felt as though they hadn’t been dried all the way. The second room they were going to change us to reeked of cigarette smoke from a long term guest. The third room was better but the shower didn’t work properly, the faucet was loose at the wall, the vanity mirror was broken and could fall down if touched, most of the outlets didn’t work, remote control was spotty; air conditioner had a grinding noise that was especially annoying and noticeable at night. After the initial switching I didn’t trust that any other room would be better. The pool looked like it needed a good scrub, the workstation was out of order, the juice machine was out of order. Everywhere you looked it seemed like something needed maintenance. For the inconvenience they gave $25 back, without even an apology for the inconveniences from the manager, which could have gone a long way. For the price we paid, we’ll be getting an Airbnb the next time we’re in town.
