Between my wife and myself, we have several years experience in the hospitality industry from the front office perspective and think we're a fair judge of the places where we stay. We stayed at this location for two nights and were pleasantly surprised by the room and grounds. At this price point, you're not going to get the Ritz-Carlton but the guest rooms and grounds should be clean and the building in good repair overall. This place checks all the boxes. Would I give them a 100% rating? No, but probably a solid 95% which is pretty good in my book. If you look hard enough, you'll always find something that isn't perfect. In our case, there were two bulbs burned-out over the vanity, the toilet wiggled, there was an empty water bottle under the arm chair, and a bit of dust on the ceiling and on top of the photos/mirrors on the wall. None of this was a big deal to us. There were a few "no-seeums" flies in the sink which we sent down the drain only to see a few more the next day but none after that. The bed was extremely comfortable (not the Jello/marshmallow mattress you seem to find too often) and we slept well. The HVAC and TV functioned flawlessly. The room was well-lit and had sufficient outlets for our electrical items. Wi-Fi was good as well though we travel with a private Hot Spot. There's an outdoor pool and a gazebo with picnic tables and charcoal grills if you would like to barbecue. The $25/night Pet Fee seems to be about the norm though we feel pets should stay free since inconsiderate owners can be charged for any resulting damages. We didn't sample the continental breakfast. In all, it seemed to be a great place to stay and we'd likely go there again if we were in the area. Bear in mind that the GPS in our car could not locate the address though our phones got us there without any complications.
